What's not so n... morePeople who have software issues make sure that your phone is not having any untrusted applications and try to install the applications to your memory card rather than to phone memory.Try to keep the phone memory free (atleast some 30 MB).If nothing is working for you remove third party softwares(untrusty) and make a phone memory backup to memory card.Format the phone,restore the phone memory.Update your firmware.This should help.

no, the phone doesnt restart when you change your network to 3G..

I've got this phone. It's simply awesome... What's not so nice, is that I've had it for 3 months, then it started to go crazy... Software Issues. I'm still waiting for the phone from Repairs. Ha, ha.

I had a nokia n70 and 3600. In n70 java 3d games or app like opera mini 5 dosen't run smoothly and require a lot time to load but in 3600 it runs better and load much faster. My question is does n79 can play 3d java games smoothly and load quickly?

pls tel me dat if we change in [network mode] gsm to umts[3G] network, does phone nid 2 reboot ??? Or not ??? Lyk in n70 phone ask for reboot d phone

im just wondering it says in my device manager that the software version of my n79 is 11.049, can anyone suggest how will i update that to a latest one

What does RAM stand for ? N79 has 96mb wats is this ?

i am using n79 for 4 months now, its an average phone, it actually satisfy my mobile need indeed of playing music, browsing the internet but one thing that i didnt like bout this phone is when i put the phone lock on i noticed that the light turns off after 5-10sec and it iritates me and eventho i already turn off the phone lock still does the same so what i did i resetted the phone and it went ok.. once in a while it hang, but not too often. just need to powercycle the phone to get back up and running..

Hi i bought my N79 few days befor camera quality is good but yeah video hangs for few secs in start after updatein firmware prob still exist and its dam slow in downloading even on 3.5G network keypad is just ok

all the features u want and in a tidy neet package
protection for camra ( 5 mpix) with dual flash
good design
tough looking shape
attractive
accelerometer
good not best battery life
what more do u want
