Try and be a bit more specific. Which models of the other phone manufacturers are you referring to?
As far as I'm aware, the Nokia N8 is the only handset on the market with a 12MP camera, Bluetooth version 3, and can play pretty much any video format you throw at it, without having to convert it first. Plus it has a HDMI output for connection to a HD TV.
If any of the phones you have in mind can match that, I'd like to hear it.

it is 4g .540*960 pixels , full 1gb ram , hsdpa 14.4 hsupa 5.76 .1GHZ NVIDIA tegra2 dual core processor ,1080 MP4 . 30 fps playback , adobe flash 10.1 player and 1930 mah ..... I know nokia will start 512 ram and so !? Byebye nokia .

for photos,try to take moving fan or moving objects like motor cycle wheels while N8 gives you stunning pics 5.1mp gives you juz blurry pic with low quality :). Njoy! my frds

Hello N8 users, there's any application to remotly control the PC from the N8 using the IP?, something like Splashtop for Iphone's, I really need a similar app, I heard about SymRDP but it's not yet available for N8.

Finally I just got my N8. Fantastic :-) The video zoom is unreal. How do they do it? No other phone on the market has such a zoom. Is it optical or what? Why does not blur the picture at max 3x zoom?

sr.kumar, 06 Jan 2011Pl. check sound clarity of N8 once again. I have used 5800... more@sr.kumar. The speakers on the 5800xm are stereo and spaced quite far apart down the left hand side.
The speaker on the N8 is mono ( just one speaker ) and is positioned on the rear next to the camera. It's size is roughly equivalent to one of the speakers on the 5800xm. So, the 5800xm having two speakers obviously gives better sound quality.
Testing with earphones defeats the object, as the original remark was about sound quality through the speakers.
I have re-tested sound output through the speakers on both phones and can confirm the 5800xm has better sound output through the speakers.

I have used 5800... morei have also used x6 8gb which had the best sound output till date... but i feel n8 has louder n clearer output i'm using the black n8... n the headset sound is definetely better than 5800 n x6... if anyone denies it i have nothing to say
