Im been using dads N8 for some time and now own N8 for couple of days.
I'm very happy whit the phone :) It's a great multimedia phone with excellent built quality. I specially like about customizing the phone, I loaded a nice theme from Ovi called SPBGreen(even the keyboard became better) and different homescreens gives me information such as weather forecast, publictransport timetables, fb, news, and emails.
The phone feels great in hand, camera is spectacular(whit great editing features) and I think Ovi Store works well on S^3 offering many handy apps. Multitasking is working well.
Cons for the phone are text input and poor web browser. You can live whit them, but I hope that update, hopefully in january, will fix them.
Nowdays everything in phone industry is compared to iPhone - N8 is better to hold in hand than iPhone4 and homescreens are able to give you much more information than the icon table on iPhone. Otherwise N8 is cheaper but S^3 is maybe not SO easy to use. A plus for me is that you don't have to use iTunes to import music to a Nokia.

And i m not advertizing. I have not made these mods.
These mods are risk free. Damian Dining hiself reviewed the hyperX mod and said that nokia didn't implement it coz of the large size of images made them difficult to store or upload. He or nokia never mentioned the risk factor anywhere. Anyways, these are just software tweaks and dont really burden the hardware or processor.

[deleted post]Please can you not advertise here. There is no way that modifing your mobile is 100% risk free. If the mods are good and or successful then nokia would have them already installed before selling them to the public.

is there ne other phone available which has these featurez inbuilt n dont have 2 download apps to do all those things?

mato, 29 Dec 2010i bought this phone last week but i need your assistance: H... more @ Mato. If your downloading from OVI Store, you have to go into your account goto installation preferences and set it to mass memory for games applications. You can also do the same for Images, audio and video.
For other SIS files you may have downloaded from the internet, it's a simple case of connecting your phone to your pc via usb cable in mass storage mode, locating your phone in Windows Explorer ( it will show up as another drive ) then cut/copy and paste to your phone that way.
There is another option to transfer files, videos, pictures etc to your phone from a pc and thats using an app, available from the OVI store called Dukto. That allows the transfer of files over WiFi through your router, so no cables required, and it's very fast too.
