i'm just returning from nokia priority now... 2nd batch is in india... any unit manufactured from 3rd week of november n forth r second batch n8s.. so check ur manufacturing date...

I know it does not have ... moreN8 has a qwerty keyboard in landscape mode but not in portrait mode, we are expecting a portrait qwerty in next firmware update supposed to be in january. I'm not sure what video bug you are talking about but N8 don't have any video bug as far as I know and gsmarena reported bug its not a bug and it has been explained in their updated review. Damian dinning has promised an improved camera ui and improved smart zoom in fourth coming updates. Nokia's plan for symbian in 2011 only shows hell a lot of improvement and the future seems to be bright for N8

N8 is the master pieace fone (camera,audio, web,look)are all super this is very styleish fone i proud about nokia .......its amazing teconolage.....so go for n8_(aKoN)

Anyways this discussion is not appropriate here but what is appropriate here is, even though android is a derivative from linux it goes windows way in smart phones and symbian goes linux way, that is the difference and that is why android appeals to the mass market and people say symbian its less intuitive, surprising fact is even windows mobile went linux way in smart phones and they are now going in their own way with windows phone 7.

I hope your next replacement would be good and error free, believe me N8 is a good phone and it will live up to it's hype. out of curiosity how much did it cost for you, I heard it's 78000 is it? In that case you could have gone to sony ericsson xperia X10 if you are not a frequent flier.

and yea i have some background in linux, and i luv it too, my main complain about it is that it dosnt have much game support(from developers..., they would rather code in Directx, tried Knoppix/ubuntu as a emergency os, and MINT 7-9 since its nice :), noob friendly too :P..
true linux is weak for the end user(pc/laptops), but while its a god in servers(security), im just saying that its NOT virus "proof"... if it was as popular as windows, we would c a bunch of viruses for it...
just like the myth that no viruses for MAC etc :)

N 8 Dissapointed me.I purchased my N 8 through the Sri lankan agent "Soft logic" week before last and after using 2 days it used re start oftenly and agent provided a replacement. Same fault is there with replacement too.In addition to that there is problem with the mouth peace and the touch screen also.The second phone too handed over to them and awating there response.According to them they are in touch with the Nokia company.Remember local agent sells " Made By Nokia" which came from china.Fedup with N8 and the dealer too

Already 14 days r passed since I ve submitted my N8 to the N.care ! Today they told me that it ll take 1 more week bcoz therez no stock of N8 and no colours available ! I told them to request them to send me Orange colour ! She said yes !
