Nokia N8's price has actually increased in India from 23,999/- to 24,999/- (MRP) . :-( :-(
Price in UK n all decreased on 7th Dec.

I hv seen the night recording and captured pics...wow..what a phone..wrks like a digi cam!! i plyd angry bird lite and nfs shift..awsum... 600mhz processor good...fb gmail wrks fine!!! i dnt think that we need 1ghz..cz we dnt hv to play counter strike here :P lol...Good phone m buying on my bday.27th dec,. n yeah if in any case ( very rare) ur cell get hangs or sumthing...press n hold switch on button it will reboot .. :) njoy..

OVI maps for lifetime :) XENOZU YouTube player..Wikipedia Reader..TuneWiki - Lyrics with Music..SlideUnlock..UC Browser 7.4 S60..many many many more....see we hardly use these applications...and these all are available at OVI store.. so dnt get confused buy N*8 ..awsum phone..

I have tried unsuccessfully for the past 3 weeks to try out a working Nokia N8 at different handphone shops around Singapore. Sad to say, I went to 3 different places and all the N8s were out of order. I even visited one shop on 2 separate occasions only to find out from the store manager that he had already returned 2 sets to Nokia because they failed to work within a couple of days. What a marketing disaster! The sad thing is that the display stand is very nicely made up with the N8 connected to a LCD panel but unfortunately, the phones were not working. In contrast, the iPhones in the same shops were placed on a very simple stand and at all 3 shops, the iPhones were in perfect working condition. What a bad start to a new beginning!

This is the Nokia N8 forum. As you have posed such an easy question i will answer it. I assume you have used the compare function, using the Nokia N8 v 3GS and this has not made the picture any clearer.
If I have assumed correct then just for you Sameer_roi (in all other cases I would have no hesitation in suggesting the nokia N8!) I know that your telephony purposes would be best suited if you went for the 3GS (please future commentators I state 99.9999995% NOKIA N8) but sameer-roi deserves the 3GS ok!

yes I can clik on the "related phones" icon this gives you a list of similar phone. Take this to the local store and see if the price they are asking is similar!

TTpod is the best symbian music player, as for equalizer, you'll get 10+ vertical bars to scroll up or down. And there are nine presets too, that can create the most audible difference i've heard. No offense but the default equaliser doesn't make any obvious changes, as far as my hearing ability is concerned.
As for your problem with the default music app, well, i have never owned an s^3 device yet, but on s^1, we do this = open music player>go to now playing>hit options>choose equaliser>you'll be able to see presets, to create your own...>hit options again>then choose new preset>there you'll be able to edit and make your own and activate it wheneves you want to use it. There, hope that helps...

Atleast that was the case in series 60 5th edition. Pls google for it if you really want customisable EQ.
