!!!!!!!For all mediocre phone users!!!!
Guys, I am a user wanted the basic phone functions, a camera (to replace any pocket digicam), a device to listen good beats of music and watching movies while traveling jus for time pass. And I waited prolonged time watching all the reviews on N8 in which 70% of people give a negative remark for this phone, but yet I dared to buy this phone and for me also I started with hanging up the phone almost for every use (i.e. media player,camera,data transfer everything). I got upset but tried to short out the prob. Finally went to MENU->SETTINGS->PHONE->PHONE MANAGEMENT->FACTORY SETTINGS->DELETE DATA AND RESTORE...and THE PHONE WORKING ABSOLUTELY FINE!!! without any problem..and it's functions are FABULOUS..!!!No 1 in it's price range.

I like Nokia ph's but they r alwez very late with introducing the latest technology.....

This handset is better than people think.
Very Good speaker, the best camera, and the internet and email is amazing. Everything works perfectly.
The screen is really surprising. It has a contrast between blacks and whites that enhances all You see.
Believe me, the screen is one of the highlights of this cell.

At the momment I have two phones. For persoanl use i have HTC DESIRE and for buisness use i got NOKIA N8. I'm very happy with my Desire, I think it is best phone in the market, but after i got N8 it made me wonder. N8 has really good screen, very good touch sense, camera is best in the market. I'm working in mobilephone industry and i have tested money other handsets and Nokia N8 is one of the best.

I was looking for the sources you said, couldn't find them. Could you pls provide a link. But ya, in the process I could find another reliable link that states Morgan Stanley says that they surveyed 5 major countries of Europe and found iphone vs N8 sales as 6:1 in ratio.

guys one thing i'm confused about is gaming. Can it match ios standards, i've seen some games on android to be quite good too, pleare tell me can symbian take care of gaming better than android?

I find that a lot of people are being very childish the way they commented N8 sarcastically.
How would you feel if you are the user yourself, if you have spent so much money on a phone that you like? Is like some saying your wife sucks, but what to do? you have married her. Should you add salt to wound?
Every phone has its pros and cons. If you have bought this phone and it is not working, well throwing your tempers out will not help you. Be patient and wait for the solution. Nokia has been the most reliable phone all this while and we should appreciate that as i have been using nokia too.
I personally love this phone and will wait for the new batch while hanging on my exisintg 5800 which still serves me well.
By the way, how many of us really use 100% of the functions? no right? what is more important, it serves your general needs, like maing calls, messages, calenders, some other apps etc.
so be mature.

People, just because there's some bad N8's out there doesn't necessarily mean all of them are bad. Further, if this persists, obviously Nokia will release updates to sort these issues out. N8 is & will be, for a long time to come, the best phone ever. Let's just have an open mind. Prosecutor. Thanks.
