it will detect ur phone type alone and u will find the tab DOWNLOAD click and enjoy!!!! at last this is the best phone everrrrr
plus for the camera guys,some people keeps the sticker on of the camera to keep it safe from getting scratched ,,,remove the sticker IT REALLYYYYYY DIFFERESSSSSSS !!!!!

I got my N8 last Wednesday. All is perfect but that supplied headset in the retail package--it is broken. Or the jack is broken is broken. Whenever I use another headset, that "speak now" appears whenever I play videos or listen to music. How do I turn voice command? :) It is impossible for me to listen to music continuously. It continues reappearing. :((((

every camera looks like crap cause they all have xenon bulbs
unless your phone is dual LED
but since the lens and sensor is the biggest on a mobile phone and almost the same size as a digicam it looks alot better
then most phones and cameras

G, 09 Dec 2010Nokia please come up with other n series 12mp camera phone ... morehey bro u dnt make3 any sense....Dis is the best fone by nokia..y do u need a camera cover...its fine..i have dis fone fr 2 months now...nt a single hang...it has xenon flash so cant be used as fr video recording...the camera is best in any mobile till date...Dis fone is the most good looking and amazing design fone in the market...iphone never had call keys..tat time no one said anything...now tat Nokia has dne it...ppl have problem...u can hack the fone with contiuses autofocus...and u can 30fps video recording...Gr8 work Nokia...just wating fr nxt firmware update to make my fone even better...

I just got this phone last week and I noticed that it does have show some lags and unresponsive in some occasions (you need to multiple tap sometimes). I own an iPhone and I must say that some menus on the N8 is quite hard to find specially if you're a new user or haven't owned an Nokia phone (a friend of mine who also have this phone keep asking me how to turn on/off some settings). This doesn't bother me much since I'm quite familiar with the Symbian OS menu and UI layout. The image quality is amazing. The sound is good but the video(I converted a video clip into multiple formats,e.g. mp4,wav,mpeg,etc. and played those on the N8 and iPhone) is not that pleasing compared with the iPhone (maybe because of the bigger display on iPhone? I'm not really sure.) To make this short, N8 is the best smartphone for those who likes travelling and taking pictures. I won't suggest using this to watch videos since it drains battery much quicker.
P.S. install swype! the best app for me! :)

alphaflight, 10 Dec 2010i just bought my nokia n8 last week. and what i like about ... moresound quality via headphone is good ! Speaker is crap ! Shame ! N73's speakers gives the best quality sound ! N8 is a shame when it comes to the speaker quality ! Worst !

i just bought my nokia n8 last week. and what i like about this phone:
1. picture quality its amazing!!! even if you zoom its not pixelated...
2. wallpaper is very clear as well as its color. i do like to customize my phone thats why i love this phone.
3. the quality of sound is good. i used to have 7650, n73, n86 now n8. n8 has the best sound among them its has a smooth combination of treble and bass...
4. carl zeiss component..
nokia n8 is the best phone for me..

but it still should be fine

I have two phones the first a sony ericsson satio
and now a nokia n8 I believe that the n8 is a better phone than the satio because it is newer, but in many respects the satio has some features that are better than n8.Video recording in low light with the satio was awesome because you could switch the light on and film,with n8 i havent found a way to do that,secondly the n8 has no dedicated call keys which if your wanting to make a quick call the process is a lot slower.
Iguess you wont get everything you want in a phone and having owned two 12 megapixel phones there are good things about this phone and there are bad things the satio i believe was a very underated phone and nokia has made a similar product

I am a nokia fan-boy and I really want this phone. but because of all the problems the phone is giving the users i am having 2nd thoughts.. can anyone suggest either when the second batch is coming out or which other nokia i should consider?

Nokia please come up with other n series 12mp camera phone which has lens cover, dedicated call and end keys, video led light, removable battery, variable aperture camera with continues autofocus video recording. problems with n8 will make it out of market within one year. it has a very serious design problem because Nokia people just concentrated on style and looks of the phone which is very bad. first they should have given importance to usability and user experience and quality checking.

really love this phone but I am so unlucky ! Wont do same mistake again ! Frustation ! Feels like I ve wasted my money !
