Got mine amongst the first people, end of Q3 and im still totally loving this. I would not take my money back.
I still totally recommend the phone.

hello everyone ,please help me because i have a problem with my n8 ,When i buy i turn on the phone and phone was started but after 1 minut was shut off and I never turned on and also charger doesnt charging.thank you all

Why you comparing Nokia N8 to i phone.and black berry torch.
N8 price only 25000rs
iphone is 36000rs. And
black berry torch aval with 38000rs.
guys Nokia battry bakup is much better then iphone and blackberry.only five problem with nokia N8 is
1 its camera's picture takes 5 to 8 MB for one picture.
2 its software are not available in open market only some popular software selling websites has its software. And OVI has a large collection but there charges are very high.
3 its has no qwerty function. Only it has under screen qwerty function.
4 it has only 250 MB ram but it can open more than 35 application in one time yes 35 application.
5 its xanon flash drains its battery 5 time faster then my Old Nokia N73 LED flash.
Finally i bough this N8 due to its
1 camera
2 DOLBY DIGITAL music
3 large memory
4 on the go USB ( its really great)
5 its web browser ( looks likes windows )
6 its 3 home screen ( its ok )
7 processor ( super fast )
8 its battery back up ( 5 times more than iphon 4 and black berry torch)
so if u wants to buy then you must buy but if u dont wants to buy and thinking to buy apple i phone4 then you can. But when your battery will drain at a movment when you have no charger and you are in market and your girlfriend wants to sex with you and she wants to know which hotel will be best for your sex.then remember me. That boy was telling me to buy Nokia N8. For a super Batter life.

i work at a reputable telecommunications company in australia and i work only on the weekends. i myself have received 12 N8's back from customers within the first 30 days of use since release about 4-5 weeks ago now because of software problems and the most common problem, the phone shut itself off while in use and would not turn back on.
now the phone has some awesome specs and is quite good to use and the camera and flash is flawless but i would advise caution in selecting this phone as i feel that they have just made another n97 (a fault ridden phone).

N8....think again. leave the 12m.pix, leave it even it looks nice.
im a nokia fan but with this n8... i was transfering some data from n8 to my other nokia phone, and guess wat all my contacts in my phone were gone. i hav done transfers so many times but i didnt believe it wat happened. So n8... stay away from it.

I know u r nt lying,there r some issues ! My 1st n8 had restarting problem,i was sad but then I replaced it 4m nokia care and got new,now not a single problem !today got a new update ! So happy !

nokia are making mobile with out thinking is it good enough or testing it
this is my last nokia

All those people who's saying bad phone etc etc, i am using this from a month & i found no problem at all...so just go and buy a N8 from priority store.
Who all got the problem, guys in 1000K phones some phones may appears bad.
I dnt found any problem with this phone instead of free good apps & applications in ovi store.
