I have the phone a week now and no problems , symbian 3 as fast as android ....(compared to motorolla milestone).NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT is CoOl on the N8.Battey wise GOOd..Browser fast ... only dislike is speakers not as loud as n95, otherwise fone runs smooth , avis play nice ...quality of videos and images great ...i doubted buying the fones cos of comments on here , but bought it anyway and im happy far better than what people make it out to be on here ...

you all made me doubt my choice. but I decided to go for it.
I got the N8 , it's great cell phone , no lagging just once in a week with GPS ... I waited for a minute and then it wasn't there ...
I liked the internet using opera , free GPS , wonderful Camera in my pocket ready for pictures any time, games are nice , Screen clarity is great...
I've the Dark Grey one , it looks elegant with the Aluminium body. the Loud speaker is not as powerful as 5800 Expressmusic ... but it's loud enough and so clear and decent.
I've tried the HDMI , Flash memory on the go ,e-mails, OVI Social , they are pleasing and satisfying.
The N8 will do just fine to satisfy your needs , try it yourself , and you only can judge it right...
that was my opinion based on a week of usage ...
May be there are things that N8 is not the best at them, but I didn't try what is better lol ,, so it's very satisfying for me ,,, giving me enough options , performance considering the price ...

All the N8 buyers theres a Social update available for the N8 ,so go an check you sw update an download it,hope it improves the N8 abit more,cheers Nokia

EISH!! bra, this thing it torps. Downloaded NFS Shift in HD, Whaaaa. It works with the accelormeter, tilt the phone to turn and tap to break, etc.
Got the social sh!t and e-mails graafing. Plus I got 6 months unlimted music download from Nokia music. For free. So I dala wifi at home and DL music ine way. well will start today.
Camera is over madhir. Got proper flash, Not ehaaaauuwww flash. It is a HMMMM kind of a product. Stomach in Chest out.
Video is even better than the pics. didn't try the HDMI output yet. Don't have the HDMI cable for my TV. Will come and dala it by u in the wknd.
Only draw back is that symbian does look a bit old. But its the latest version of Symbian, V3. So it does look better than the older versions.
So its a small draw back for all the features.
U can't post pics directly to FBK but there is an option in the facbook app to upload. Pretty simple tho.
Verdict. I skeem it kicks the iPhone a$$ one time, Its not the best business phone. but its a farking great gadget/toy.
BB torch don stand a chance. Unless you want BBM and business functionality. But I got my Gmail setup on here in 30 seconds.
Oh and the phone is very sleek. Feels too sleek to be fair. But its awesome so far dude.

If you cant give in good thoughts / help / ideas / to others about this phone then dont post.
