those who complain about the camera, must have bad vision, or dont know how to use it. The best of anything i have seen before. My only complaint is that youtube videos and web tv are not of high quality, but i can live with it. I hated nokia before for selling me worst phone of the mobile phone history, the n97, but n8 makes me grateful to them

salman, 28 Nov 2010it is a good phone.12 mp camera still looks good.it is good... morereally camera is good? give me the right setting of camera of nokia n8, I test the demo unit of n8 at SM MEGAMALL nokia store phillippines, camera will be set by 9MP and 12MP it produces bad images taken by n8. xenon flash is so powerfull. but camera is not good.. im preparing to buy this soon. but camera is really bad for me.. Tell me the right camera setting of n8. Thanks........... Reply Asap........

ive been wait too long for this phone..and bored already
then ive bought iphone 3gs...
today ive just try nokia n8 & c7 on nokia centre....and the conclusion is...i never regret that ive bought an iphone..
nothing different beetwen s60v5 & symbian 3....& still so much lag....slide beetwen page not smooth
the interface is so so old nokia.....not to disheartened...i use to be a nokia freak..but after i use iphone & blackberry ..then my mind are open..that nokia is two step behind on operating system...im so dissapointed that nokia still dont fix this thing...
so for high tech....i prefer iphone & android...

Either everyone in this world, who have verdicted the n8 camera as best among mobile devices, are fools or fortunately you are the lucky idiot here. Your whole post is nonsence. First, the opinion on the camera, then the good resolution part of C7..... For your information, both have same resolution. Brighter camera means higher ISO levels which in turn is a devastating factor in cameras to have.
As a phone, n8 doesn't come close to the other high end androids but its futile to compare phones whose price difference is just too much, in the first place.
So i say that you have absolutely no idea about what makes a camera and hence you don't deserve a nokia n8, the best cameraphone of 2010. Live with the shame and be off.

nokia depreciates faster than any other phone in terms of its finance value. iphone still on the top, if you compare hands on n8 and iphone 3gs, you will see that iphone 3gs is faster and the 680 speed of the processor of nokia is a hoax

the n8 has
-better camera
-higher quality body
-better flash
But i have heard that the c7 has a better stock browser by default and more stable software. So you have two choice, buy the c7 for its internal memory and more stable software or wait for December the 15th for the software update for the n8
The choice is your really. :)

Hi im planning to buy n8 soon, but when i see the images taken by n8 is really suck. i test the demo unit of n8 at nokia store images clarity is bad, is not real 12MP, the resolution bad also not real amolED.. xenon flash of n8 is ok but the bad things i experienece is camera taken by nokia n8 is suck.. really dissappointed i think nokia cheat their customer put 12MP to impress people to buy.. 12MP but camera look 2MP..
For those who planning to buy nokia n8, pleased see the demo unit before you get your own. Go to nokia store and test the demo unit of n8, checked the camera and take some photos, the shutter key is damm it is very smooth to press easy to damage the camera key,

Poor Resolution
I could not feel the AMOLED display of n8, c7 is brighter screen than n8. i don't know why? c7 and n8 is same AMOLED but c7 is good resolution and camera is brighter than n8.
Interface of n8 is so boring..
browser its a little bit slow.
The good things i explore of n8 is very responsive touchscreen.
So for those who plan to get this soon its better to checked first the camera its really suck. Promised Swear to God. Im not joking...
Its better to get iphone4,Wave,HTC,Galaxy S.

Ideal routine will be just one command line for each routine. That is not possible unfortunately dt tasks complexity.
Therefore bigger ROM is not necessary better. :)

Nokia should consider what price N8 should be in market bcoz ppl used samsung for half of n8 price 1yr ago same or better then this im using e72 i purchased for 21000rs 8months ago now e72 price is just 15k while launching they r cheating ppl with huge amount now the price of n8 is 24k its moving so slo ppl dont even want to invest in mobiles instead they can buy mid range laptop if a college going guy has 25 k then he will buy laptop not a phone ,,,,any way still price of mobiles are tooo high thinky guys we can buy 32inch lcd tv ,,,or a bike dont invest un necessary in phones these r making little changes in software and chargng huge every month 100s of moble coming spend wisely its ur hard earn money very next day we have go many time nokia care for repair no phone is perfect they are fooling to all of us ,,,,,,,
