The camera on this thing is phenomenal. Took some pics of my kids blowing bubbles. The quality is awesome, especially for indoors shots. Dont miss my 10MP point and shoot. The N8 rules. And to think, I can even make calls on it.

Anyone here tried SPB Mobile Shell 3.7 full version. Has up to ten home screens, five lifestyle and five professional. Now I have thirteen in all. Wow!

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2010to disconnect from wifi... 1. Add WLAN widget to home scre... moreWhy would you need the widget on the homescreen? Tap the area at the battery bar above the date, assuming your phone is still setup as such. A little bar appears . On the left is the connection icon, centre is the time and on the right of the time is a battery icon. Tap the connection icon which brings a connectivity page. Second from the top is the WLAN. Tap that which brings up the available networks. Tap on options at the bottom and on the pop-up tap on the settings. This brings up 'Show WLAN availability'. Make your choice. May sound long but it actually isn't. On the connectivity page you can also tap on the settings option there. The next page brings up 'switch to WLAN'. Tap on this toggles between a 'manual' setting or 'known WLAN only'. I'd suggest the manual mode.

Thought it would have a faster processor. My Motorola E2 that I had 4 years ago could be overclocked to 624mhz. And that was a plain old candybar phone

[deleted post]Dear Vishal this is not the way to respond to anyone's problem. we are here to help each other not to critisize anyone..
First of all i must say i love nokia N8.. and at present this is the best smartphone in the market..
But there is really a bug in this N8.. Sometimes after switching off and then switching on the phone when i call somebody from the contact list in phone memory the contact name and contact photo id is not displayed.. And ths happens it happens for all the contacts in the list not a single one.. Again after switching off /on the phone it becomes normal..
This thing started happening only after setting up my mail boxes.. I did a hard reset of the phone it became normal.. Again this thing started happening after setting up my mailboxes.. Then i removed all the mailboxes from the phone and the problem is solved.. Has anyone noticed the same problem.. Kindly reply.. Thanx..
