Im serious man, quite serious. Try searching on the net.

"so by giving us this stup*id link ,are you trying to say that the n8 amoled is equal to samsung super amoled or what??!??"

Im just putting the link to show you how the AMOLED woks just as fine as Super AMOLED.

Like gsmarena said, normal users wont notice the difference of the different screen resolution. And the ugly face is for pop, i didnt say about gsmarena team.

"it is pretty fast for symbian but when compered to iOS,android, and bada ,it becomes pretty slow"

This is the new symbian^3 we're talking bout here bud. If it is even slower than iOS, android and bada, a half a second lag wouldn't kill u anyway. Also symbian^3 phones uses the GPU to provide a smoother user experience.

"a try is better than a lie .....;)"

-_-, what pop said are mostly lies, so how does that count?

phones fan, 16 Nov 2010'wave nvr uses more than 45% of its processor so is a compl... morebada os is a failure, man. it will die out soon

understand that there is no perfect phone
but all round, n8 is the best buy

if youre phone isnt overheating, youre lying
even my xperia x1 with 528mhz overheats after playing a hd game or using gps for 15min

and yes, most smartphones dont need 1ghz for 99% of the time. only time you need it is when playing hd games and watching hd movies

however, n8 can do both with a slower cpu, which proves that sheer numbers dont mean anything.

the super amoled is better then amoled, but a hd movie on a 42" lcd is even better

most people who buy N8, I believe, are in europe and asia, except of course japan and south korea, where nokia is still quite popular and also because its nokia, meaning there is a sense it will be reliable, but the most important factor, the price. iphone and samsung galaxy s are just too espensive while HTC desire is relatively unknown to many outside of taiwan and the US. while the samsung wave might be better, it's relatively new and the apps for bada is still not that many when compared to symbian's.

[deleted post]if you want a phone with thousands of free useful apps and free great games with gyro support go for the iphone4.

but if you want a phone with the best built quality and the best still camera with xenon flash go for the n8

when will full version of angry birds be available? tried to buy it but not yet available for philippine market. also, how come the free angry bird game at ovi store only have 6 levels while there are so many for the free angry bird for android? nokia should do something about this!

snonre, 16 Nov 2010Ahh....this brings back memories, this comment was actually... more'wave nvr uses more than 45% of its processor so is a complete waste'

whaaaat?????are u kidding?so you mean wave only uses 450MHz of the 1GHz processor and still as fast as the iphone4 !!!! wave uses the 1 GHz speed as needed.

'Cpu also tends to heat up when playing games like NFS shift and kroll'

                I've played both...what heat?!?

                'Pls see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swfT7OmKcC4'

so by giving us this stup*id link ,are you trying to say that the n8 amoled is equal to samsung super amoled or what??!??

gsmarena(The indoor image quality, as is to be expected from an AMOLED unit, is pretty good with deep blacks and nicely saturated colors. Not as impressive as Samsung’s SuperAMOLED screens, but certainly competitive elsewhere.)

'is there really any difference? Yes.....if you put ur ugly face directly on the screen that is. BTW the nHD (360X640) resolution on the n8 is the most optimal resolution for a 3.5 inch screen which produces about 280dpi, any more would be a waste. Also the nHD resolution produces a 16:9 ratio which is perfect for viewing videos on your phone without stretching or those pesky black bars on the top and the bottom of the video.'

gsmarena(The Nokia N8 has standard screen resolution. At 360 x 640, the Nokia N8 has 44 percent less pixels than the best Android displays (854 x 480 pixels) and just over a third of the iPhone 4 pixel count (960 x 640 pixels).
gsmarena(Not everyone needs that kind of pixel density though, and some users probably won’t even be able to notice the difference. We do, that's for sure.

sorry gsmarena team but some one here thinks that u have ugly faces because you could notice the pixilated screen of the n8...lol

'my unit works pretty fast. yet another prejudice comment on the n8'

[deleted post]Ahh....this brings back memories, this comment was actually posted a few months back, but in another form

'wave has 1Ghz cpu and n8 has just 680Ghz cpu'

wave nvr uses more than 45% of its processor so is a complete waste. Cpu also tends to heat up when playing games like NFS shift and kroll

'wave has 512 MB ram and n8 has 256 MB ram'

symbian OS has the ability to utilize virtual RAM to back up the already available RAM. And symbian OS is the most efficient OS that you can find, so putting more RAM will be like overkill.

"wave has SUPER AMOLED screen and n8 has simple AMOLED screen"

                            Pls see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swfT7OmKcC4

                            'wave has 800 x 480 pixel density and n8 has 640 x 360 pixel density'

is there really any difference? Yes.....if you put ur ugly face directly on the screen that is. "wave has bada os with less apps but has all the basic apps that a phone needs, and n8 has lots of apps but is slow and lagging"

May i know what apps are lagging? Cause all of mine are working perfectly

"Wave has 1500mah battery that last 3-4 days, and n8 has 1200mah battery that last max 2 days"

A bigger cpu needs a bigger battery man, and with normal usage i can get 3 days out of the n8 battery. Not bad for a 1200mah battery eh?

Nice try, but not good enough

guru, 16 Nov 2010DO anyone knows about the SPB Mobile Shell in N8? Can anyon... moreSPB shell is a paid app that allows you to change ur n8 UI into a better one (like the one you saw on youtube), instead of only 3 home screen on symbian^3, you will get 5 on SPB shell. It even has a 3d carousal view of ur menu which looks pretty cool and shows off the power of the GPU of the N8. If you need any more info, feel free to ask
