and im not sure how will opening a phone void your warranty
plus, nokia themselves issued a service manual which show exactly how to do it step-by-step without messing things up.

Can anyon... moreSPB shell is a paid app that allows you to change ur n8 UI into a better one (like the one you saw on youtube), instead of only 3 home screen on symbian^3, you will get 5 on SPB shell. It even has a 3d carousal view of ur menu which looks pretty cool and shows off the power of the GPU of the N8. If you need any more info, feel free to ask

aaptk, 16 Nov 2010why are people emphasizing that the battery is not replacea... morebecause unreplaceable battery is one of cons of the iphone ,some people used to carry an extra battery with them instead of the charger,so if the battery died they just put the other.....as with the laptops

i mean, if the phone hangs, just press the power button for 10 seconds
if it fails, you have warranty
if it fails after warranty, you can replace it yourself
its a very common battery and i think a screwdriver is not a luxury

Thank you ve... moreNo need 2 batt cause this one will be enough for 4h daily surf for 2 days. Even if you need more then you can conn ANY USB or ANY Nokia charger or portable Chinese charger (1 bat AA).
Didn't even sw off mine for 20 days and if you need "batt remove" then press and hold power switch 8 sec it's same thing.
Own myself iPhone 3GS and Nokia N8, both great phones but if I want to talk then I choose N8. Great sound and conn. For games iPhone. GPS and USB OTG N8 (500Gb) !
Needless to say more.
