Dikshant, 15 Nov 2010**************FOR SNORE*************** there are lots an... moreFinally an answer!

But :

-Browsing is better on android 2.2 with full flash support.

The default browser will be upgraded in the next major update which will come early next year, and flash 10.1 is also coming soon to symbian^3. Confirmed

-Applications are a lot better on android.

May i know which app pls? cause searched throughout the net and many people are saying that NFS shift on symbian^3 platform is better and has more detail than the one for the android platform.

-Android gets platform updates more frequently than symbian.

Too early to say that man, symbian^3 is just more than one month old. also, nokia might release minor updates before releasing the major update in 2011.

-Keyboards are alphanumeric in symbian while browsing, it makes browsing really slow.

Guess what? Portrait keyboard is also coming together with the major sw update, for now we can use SWYPE or the baidu app.

-Live Wallpapers (gives ur fone a better look)

Symbian has an even better alternative, SPB shell, which completely changes ur UI into a more tastful one, here is a demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzUeDABMmo8 . But hey, live wallpaper is great to, but there are some users like me who want something more than an interactive wallpaper. and who knows, an app might just be created for the symbian^3 platform that mimics that live wallpaper feature on android os

Nice try though.

Bye for now N8 fans and haters. United Arab Emirates is celebrating Eid and we are in a 4-day holiday and I am going to experience my N8 for an outdoor trekking/outing/swimming/camping. It is testing time for N8's GPS/navigation, camera, videocam, battery life, MFE, etc.

Peace everyone and enjoy your mobile phones, whatever brand and model it is!

nice to read u guys argue abt multitasking capabilities and not mentioning N900, the onli fone with real multitasking capability. Its like discussing the worlds fastest car and using a family sedan and a van as examples of fast cars. There is only one true multitasking celfone, but ok, if discussing whats the worst then its impossible to not put all iphones on the bottom of the bin. Its truly ret@arded that way, and how anyone can defend its lack in multitasking would be an interesting topic for Freud.

Anonymous, 15 Nov 2010why nokia cant make a multitouch virtual keyboard? How... moreWhat do you mean by multi-touch virtual keyboard? In N8, you can use your fingers and a capacitive stylus in typing and also I would suggest installing SWYPE. IOS email is no good compared to the unified email accounts you can put in the nokia email, especially if you will learn how to use the Mail for exchange (MFE). MFE delivers you full PUSH EMAIL to your phone. Inbox, calendar and contacts is integrated and synchronized with your N8. The exact time someone sends you an email, it is pushed directly to your phone like a sms/text message. No need to click send/receive or establish an internet connection to receive your emails.

Scratch-proof, scratch resistant, anti-scratch; means the same in one way or another. I think you learn only british english, try to learn some variation of english, like the american english and the so-called international english (a mixture of english dialects/variations).
