This is my dream phone at the moment... I don't care if the UI is not that flashy as iOS or android. Symbian remains to be the most-userfriendly UI for me.And n8's build quality? I think it's the best one so far.It's an important factor for a smartphone to be sturdy.It's a fact that we are still in recession and people mostly change their phones after a year or so. Ergo, we need a smartphone that could withstand accidental drops and the likes. great job Nokia!

friends i have purchased nokia n8 and i must say thats its best ... 12mp camera and really fast and dosent hanges on the other hand there is a problem that is battery problem but guys i have found a solution of it ,,, turn ur mobile on power saving mode and trust me it gives 2 days timing .. at the end i repeat nokia n8 rocks .. its billion time better dn iphone 4 or xperia x10 ... nokia i ove you after using nokia n8

Alex, 14 Nov 2010Hi all, I've got an i8910 with orange and due an upgrade, D... morehi alex.i am using i8910 orange one,i bought it from ebay but its not good screen is good but custmor service is not good means software update.i used some custom rom but that is not good so i am not happy with that so i sold that one and what i done is i bought n8 from tesco,tesco selling £319 ,and i am using 3 network, and 3 network doing n8 but 24 month £30 means £720 ,and my contrect at the moment is £15 a month and 18 month contract, its gona finish next month i am gonna upgrade same price plan so its cost me after 18 month £270 so £270+(nokia n8 pay as go)£319=£589+one free phone with contract .think about that.and my free phone is lg optimus one android 2.2 froyo one .

i ll sell my N8 for 15k ...
it sucks..most of the time this hangs..i ll wait for E7 rather else go for android..else i ll not buy nokia at all till meego arrives..
only camera is good n music is good...else its a shit phone..
my advice: dont buy this...go for samsung bada os phones or htc android ones

Symbian is not slow and doe... moreIn honesty I feel Symbian has been neglected. it was YEARS AHEAD of its day, and a milestone for allowing open source apps to be written, a bit like directx. But, the interface is just too fidly. The kernel is there, still as efficient as ever, but just one example of symbian^3 trying to mark file to delete in file manager (that STILL is located in office,odd!) you can now long press screen to bring up MARK, but have to repeat on each file. Even on a basic Samsung you can add a tick by each item, so much easier eh? You wish you can move you widgets around manually on the wallpaper, and only three panels still, why? And they offer you the option to delete if 'too many', is that a joke they incorporated? I have a t-mobile pulse mini, it has fifteen panels! Do an update Symbian, please! I expect an ota update to my N8 that brings it upto 2010 specs, do I still have to buy a certain SPB app to make my phone look as it should?

i need 2 or 3 battery a day if im using it all day long
i need to charge it or swap battery on all my nokia 2 or 3 times a day . So if this phone has no battery ill just may think of a.ternative on the go charging

The wave has a FANTASTIC screen, similar to Galaxy S. But Bada is somewhat limited for apps at the moment. One thing I dio find is the need to reset my widgets when the wave 'runs out of memory', odd fault that.You end up with no screen shortcuts. The N8 may look a little outdated through its interface, but in the last few days I have begun to appreciate what a great piece of kit this phone is. Having used a usb keyboard and mouse while plugged in to an HDMI monitor, it is a mini computer in your pocket. In the car I listen to my music collection using car radio fed by the N8 FM Transmitter. At home I have plugged in a USB hard drive via the USBOTG interface and streamed HD video through the N8 to the large screen. The HD Video is almost unbeatable. Symbian is well looking outdated, rumour has it they have just had a massive cash injection to stop them going bust, that's maybe the problem with N8, SYMBIAN!

so many people saying they having problem with nokia n8. it turn by it self, freeze,slow. so many problems, i think that was nokia n8 hater. because my cousin have nokia n8 phone its amazing. don't listen to nokia n8 hater. listen to ur heart.

For a mobile device, the batter life is very important. When you want to call or receive a call, the battery runs out...

N8 has first pentaband for 3g. You can use N8 in world wide when you travel. It is free gps map is superb, fast and free. It supports Bluetooth 3, FM transmitter and HDMI, USB OTG.

The phone is expensive and doesn't support U.S. 3G. Call quality could have been better....
camera is only 8MP....
u should definately use N8....
