My N8 does not lag or hangs, the touch is so smooth and the phone reactions are just superb.
You know what the problem is many providers put there own custom software on it.
For example my previous phone was the SE Satio, from the start it was laggy, because my provider changed the software with a custom software with Vodafone crap on it.
What i did i debranded my Satio and from there on i could update to newer firmware and my phone was faster.
So don flame Nokia about this it might also have something to do with the custom firmware from your provider.
Think about that and the choice is your if you want or not want to buy it.

I'm not liking it, I want full brightness all the time,no matter how much battery it drains.... Plz let me know if it is possible.... Except this everything is mindblowing.... :)

No matter what the whole world says... This phone is mindblowing,stunning... I am using this so I know the truth,no lag,no hang so far...touch is awesome,even I didn't except this much sensitive touch from it,but it's really nice.... One thing I am not liking is that screen brightness automatically adjusts with surroundings light.... How can I stop this change?? Any other N8 user plzz reply......

I am sure there might be some problem. If there is no any problem, it is not usual for a new product.

Now you may not be experiencing any problems probably coz you are all clued up on how set it up so that apps are not fighting for RAM and Processor cycles but there's a lot and I mean a lot of users experiencing lagging and freezing, not everybody who buys a smartphone wants to be hogged down by resetting the phone every other day, that's counter productive for a person on the go. No wonder Android is catching up real fast. And the fact that both Samsung and Sony Ericsson have dumped Symbian, it's only a matter of time till people wise up to the fact that this OS however good it's perceived to be, there's something not right.
N8 with a better OS would have silenced a lot of critics.

Can I get a new phone from Nokia care ? I could lower the frequency of restarting ! But couldnt stop it completely ! My N8 is ok now but it restarts at least 1 time per hour ! If I listen songs and browsing( or anything) it restarts ! I havent removed the cover 4m the screen,is it a problem ?

I just laugh at those stupid people who disses the N8 on the specs, sorry to say but i love my N8 it does not lag or hang what so ever.
For all the haters try it yourself, Nokia is already selling a lot of N8's in Asia. i think this phone is gonna be a monster seller.
Don't hate but try to love it.
And Apple fanboys no your iPhone is not the best phone in the world. NUFF SAID.
