I just can't understand that why Nokia cant fix some issues?? Why don't they give a new UI with new OS, a better resolution, an 1GHz processor with atleast 512 ram??? Why??? I dont like ppl saying nokia fn laggy/slow/outdated.... Cause I'm a nokia fan,but I just dont undstnd why are they still keeping some serious negative aspects for their set.... Come on Nokia,time to wake up.... Still you are the biggest name,show us why....

Its only while reading ebooks or browsing the internet that the X10 screen shines and is superior to the N8 screen due to the resolution. For videos they are close and since N8 is AMOLED screen, ull get deeper blacks than X10 ;)

urgentSkype for N8 is available in ovistore, u can download it from there.
But unfortunately there are many bugs currently. :(

Just got my N8 for a week, everything runs smoothly.. camera is superb (I mean it is REALLY VERY superb), even on low light condition, the captured pictures still look great without any noise..
Gaming is great too ! downloaded some HD games, such as GT racing, aspalt 5, angry birds, Zuma HD... all worked smoothly without lag and graphic looks very good!
In terms of browser, it is better than n97(my pld phone) and viewing youtube video through facebook post is very stable.
i dont use widget much.. so i just removed all the preset widgets on the homescreen.. so the phone memory can be free to about 178MB..
Battery life is very good as well.. my gf plays game at full brightness for 5 and half hours before the battery reaches 20%(where it will prompt whether to activate power saving mode). Upon activating power saving mode, the phone lasts for 5 more hours(without playing games, just used for sms)
overall... the phone is very good.. and although many complain about symbian^3 OS sucks... i dont really think so... it deliver N8 smoothly and everything works well in this device.. i guess every phone will have their pros and cons...

So yup the X10 has a better and bigger screen than the N8. Its more crisp and vivid especially after the new Android 2.1 update.
Nonetheless the N8 has an AMOLED screen and it is pretty good no doubt. The only drawback is the low resolution which makes the display just a little inferior to the X10's.
Not a BIG difference I would say, so don't worry about the N8 screen. Its not the best screen in the market, but it is definitely one of the better ones available. You won't be dissapointed with the N8 in any case.

But the resolution is only 640*360...whereas most of the set now-a-days have 800*480,also iphone 4 has its unbelievable 960*640 res....Compared to this,how can N8 provide with such sharp & vivid display with low res?? What do u think??? :)

However, for general use, you might not see any difference after a certain resolution. You should rather go check out both displays yourself.

Does N8 has a better display than SE Xperia X10? N8 is amoled, but X10 is TFT...But N8 res 640*360 whereas X10 res 854*480 .... I hv seen X10,its video quality was awesome,too bright,vivid,sharp,crisp.... So if I buy an N8 will I get a better display,will it be more brighter & sharp??? Anybody who has experienced both,plz let me knw... Don't give any biased ans plzz....
