Chan, 03 Nov 2010Hi hoping someone can help me out. i havent used a nokia in... moreI never used xperia or satio.but my first phone is a sony ericsson phone but sony failed in every aspect leaving music.why u should buy nokia n8
1.nokia is worlds largest manufacturer mobile company having many service center compare to samsung,lg,ericsson
2.n8 having more resolution and cam
3.nokia prices falls very quickly increasing their sales. so everyone can afford from high to common people.and no other mobile company thinks about that.this is the main reason why i love nokia.
4.n8 having better graphics driver compare to any sony phones
5.n8 having hd thats the best compare to iphone4,galaxy s in terms of hd
6.better battery backup compare to iphone4,galaxys,wave,xperia
7.usb on the go support u can attach n8 anywhere with anything.hope it helps u

velu, 03 Nov 2010if you use you phone for testing more , then you have to go... moreThanks so much for your advice, one thing i forgot to mention is ineed the camera more than the phone which sounds stupid but for my work it needs to be around the 12mp otherwise its just not good quality. i found the sony ericsson satio which i have is the best phone ever as far as the camera goes and great coz it has a shutter to keep it safe.

nothing can replace it
i would suggest you to try Nokia E72 which is the best business mobile from Nokia so far,
or you can try Nokia N900

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2010heys guys..i went to a nokia priority dealer and used this ... moreNo.n8 having gorilla +scratch resistant screen.screen will not breakable easily.and u know nokia uses any built material is stronger than samsung,iphone,ericsson this is universal truth and n8 is not slow m having x6 and x6 is fast compare to old nokia n series n72,n70,n73,n79 so n8 having 256 mb ram and it will b a bit faster than my x6.so ya its true whenever u start ur phone it takes some time but after 4-5 sec it will act fast as whatever u will open it goes in ur ram and once it goes in ram any device will open that thing in nanosecond.go for n8

are those people never tired of bashing n8,yes every phone has it own good side and bad side. I love n8 but yes its not a perfect phone,but its only a thing made by human,it couldn't be perfect. But so what,i still love it,and its only $500 not the end of world.

it has great battery life
i use mine with 5hrs of music over bluetooth using my BH-505, 2 hrs of web surfing, about 1 hr call, about 30 mins video, and device stays on for 20 hrs a day and then the battery goes to 20%
After that much heavy use its fantastic keep in mind that power saving stays deactivated.
So yeah N8 rocks

Hi hoping someone can help me out. i havent used a nokia in a while, im a sony ericsson person and have the Satio which i love but it crashes all the time. i then got the x10 xperia and found it was useless. has anyone played with both phones and can tell me if the Nokia N8 is better and why? my main uses are txting and love having the persons pic come up when they call or txt and having my personal music ring tones for phonebook entrys and message tones.
im a day away from choosing and hoping someone can help me.

i would say u go for the C7 thats the best you are gonna get at 20,000
it has 8 MP cam,symbian ^3,dedicated Graphics processor, amoled display it has everything
u can say its an N8 just without the mighty 12MP cam and xenon flash and the inbuilt 16GB memory.

Here is a link to someone dropping N8 3 meters to concrete and only getting 2 tiny scratches.

N8 is usual Nokia quality. Might break if something hits hard on the center of the screen but usual drops etc. it can handle.

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2010heys guys..i went to a nokia priority dealer and used this ... moreThe pieces in the Nokia Priority stores are the ones that go thru a lot of torture. everyone who comes, takes a picture or two, fiddles with settings and stuff, and very few apps are installed by the store guys, to let you know the full potential of the phone. this phone is actually good !!!
the Glass , FYI , is GOrilla Glass. it is very difficult to scratch it, leave aside breaking it.
this phone is definitely worth a buy and has a superb Hardware. Nokia has promised to keep giving proper SOFTWARE(not just simple firmware) upgrades, so this platform is quite safe to buy.

heys guys..i went to a nokia priority dealer and used this phn..it seemed a bit slow..dun knw y...ws slow in opening apps...touch ws gr8..and he said as its a amoled screen so it is bit delicate and can break on falling...bt i still cant convince myself frm nt buying this phn...so plz help me out...is it true about the screen and the slow performance....

When super surround app for symbian arrives i buy n8 but only samsung make concert hall settings and windows has srs wow and new windows 7 srs wow ,why no super surround app for symbian.??? its got stereo widening but that useless.

Anyways, it is up to what suits your personality. That is the reason we have such wonderful choices
