You need to return that phone to your dealer if ever you're telling the truth. Real owners of the N8 don't experience problems like that. Maybe you're dreaming? And are we suppose to believe you?

I have some problems with my N8. i am using since 10 days. Now i am facing a problem of frequent switch off. Anybody pls help. I brought it from Nokia priority Kerala, India.

i just spent 79,999.99 of my hard earned naira to preorder this phone and now they telling me i've gotta wait for two damn weeks before i get it....I'M GOING CRAZY HERE...

Heck, I think I'll tell my friend to exchange his Wife, errr Wave with the N8. This phone is so good I feel I can do more and efficiently with it. Fits perfectly on my pocket, too. I don't feel like I'm carrying an oversized smartphone or an undersized tablet. I feel like I have the whole world in my pocket! I can tell my friend too that he'll be able to control things better with the N8 than his wife, errr Wave.

great mobile in which no problem in that ...........
i was using this from the last 10 days
i really appreciate about that......
easily comparable with iphone -4 at a very cheap price just about rs 23500
iphone is so costly as compare to nokia n8
i only suggest to buy nokia n8 :)

Google is already dealing with a lawsuit from Oracle and attacks on Open Handset Alliance members for perceived patent violations in Android products. Google can throw another set of legal papers onto the pile as Gemalto has filed a patent infringement suit concerning Android.
Gemalto alleges that Google, HTC, Motorola, and Samsung violate Gemalto’s patents in the Dalvik virtual machine. Android uses Dalvik to virtualize Java, which prompted Oracle to file a complaint against Google in August; now Gemalto claims that Dalvik infringes upon technology it developed in Texas in the 1990’s. The complaint was filed in the Eastern District of Texas.

Browser has some problems but Ovi browser is coming ! N8 will get symbian^4 ui ! Check all the 5 colours in NPD and choose ur fav. ;)

[deleted post]Just tell me whatz wrong with u ? I am not facing any hang,freezing ! I use opera for browsing ,default browser has some problems ( I heard that ) but itz gonna replace by new OVI browser ! Symbian^4 UI will b updated on N8 !

Now some misleading media propaganda:
1. N8 has only 680 MHz processor: Believe me Symbian is by born very efficient. If u ever own a Mac and try to run a Windows 7 in a virtual machine then u know how slow it is. Processor doesn't define speed. I started with a 233MHz pentium processor with 32MB RAM which ran Windows 98 extremely fast with all Office applications, a bunch of productivity apps and a host of games. To give a recent example look at Windows Vista, which runs very slow on the same computer compared to Windows 7 or Mac OS X!
2. N8 has only 256MB RAM: Again u don't need that much RAM. The Symbian^3 has "Writable data paging" which works like virtual memory. And don't forget, Symbian is built from ground up to be battery, memory and processor efficient. No other OS (including Android) claims that feat.
