Yest, i visited nokia dealer.. To see N8, this interface is very bad, My frnds use android phones and it is awsm interface... But frns say android is unstable.
I felt the interface of opening a menu, menu buttons are very old style, (Feel like Ngage, whn i was using it).
A phone which costs 24k, but still not with cool menus and cool interface.

I got rid of my samsung wave for the Nokia N8.
even though the wave was a brilliant phone, games like NFS Shift and Kroll would keep crashing. even while playig Asphalt, the phone would heat up.
if email exchange was used, the otherwise awesome battery would drain in a day.
The Nokia N8 seems to be the right balance.
the CORRECT amount of ram, REALLY POWERFUL Graphics, and a decent processor make it nice to use.
(Pretty sure the processor will be OVERCLOCKED soon by some hackers :))
I would like to try 750 - 800 GHz)
this would hopefully not strain the battery too much.
I would also like to thank nokia for making the OS better to work with rather than focussing on Eye candy.
i am sure the future upgrades will be great. till then, the never ending linup of themes and animation softwares are fine.
i find it funny how the trolls come up here and keep bashing this phone, even if they dont own it. there are enough people on this planet for all the smartphones to co-Exist....
The best thing about the Nokia N8 is that even after a year when there as a phone challenging the face of the mobile world with crazy specs, the Nokia N8 can double as a Perfect Digi cam / Video recorder / MP3 Player.
This Phone just cant go Wrong !!!!!!

Hi friends....
I got my nokia N8 in the first day itself by pre-booking..Everything is good in the phone. When compared to samsung galaxy it's surely a better choice.
galaxy price is 27k.but N8 24k.
galaxy having 5mp.N8 having 12MP with xenon flash.
Battery backup is damn better than galaxy.i got 1 and half days for heavy usage.if we use power saving mode we can get hardly 2 days.
some people says galaxy apps(android) is the strongest point in galaxy.i accept that.but do remember 90 percent of apps are useless.more apps are silly, some always need data usage, some need authenticate.some apps country based.nearly 5percent of apps are useful. In case of symbian^3 apps are lagging.but nokia said that they gonna spend money for apps.so we can expect in near future
people said that RAM is less.but i didn't feel laggy.for UI there is a accelerator in hardware.so it works fine.this is enough for all ur need.i simultaneously opened more apps.but i don't feel laggy.
Display is really good.but not meets the super AMOLED.i don't expect that too.for that price this is worth.
Conclusion:I don't need only office mobile,i don't need only entertainment.I need Everything in my device.N8 only satisfied my needs.
N8-All rounder

Gartner Inc. predicts Andr(av)oid will surge to 14% of the global smartphone market in 2012 ahead of the iPhone, as well as Windows Mobile and BlackBerry smartphones.
In 2012 market will be
Symbian: 203 million handsets, 39 percent of the market; Google Android: 76 million handsets, 14.5 percent of the market; Apple iPhone OS: 71.5 million handsets, 13.7 percent of the market; Windows Mobile: 66.8 million handsets, 12.8 percent of the market; RIM BlackBerry OS: 65.25 million handsets, 12.5 percent of the market; Linux variants: 28 million handsets, 5.4 percent of the market; Palm webOS: 11 million handsets, 2.1 percent of the market.
Database giant Oracle has launched a legal action against Google, alleging that the company infringes seven patents it owns related to Java.
Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, was formerly a chief technical officer for Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems was bought by Oracle.
The move is interesting because when Sun Microsystems was a separate entity it promoted Java as an open source option.
Google never formally took out a licence from Sun Microsystems, while Java is widely used in a large number of applications created by other vendors. The law suit will cause other manufacturers to wonder whether Oracle will start a patent hunt against them.
The move prompted the Wall Street Journal to remind its readers that Larry Ellison, the CEO of Oracle, is a friend of Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple.
Apple considers Android to be a considerable threat to the iPhone and the Google OS continues to grow its market share as an OS for smartphones.
Java deal between IBM and Oracle is threatening to damage the Android
For the reading pleasure of all trespassing Andr(av)oid
fans here... And also Nokia fans are welcome to read.

A good camera is the only saving grace of this phone. People will stop caring about it in a few months. Don't waste your money. I don't see Nokia keeping up with the best phones out there. No longer the cream of the crop for high-end smartphones. Even MeeGo has a ton of probs. Don't get your hopes up with Nokia for another couple years. Stick to cheap basic phones w/ crappy software. Nokia will just move onto something the moment they already your money and won't care to software update after a year.
