I've said it before and I'll say it again now......Qt,Qt,Qt,Qt!!! Symbian will get better than the rest very soon. Elop's commitment to this platform has just given it a greater boost with regular updates taking this OS to new heights!!! No symbian ^4....just 1 platform forever that being symbian ^3!!!! Take that fanboys. I guess we are about to have more followers here very soon.
Now that was a strategic move that will reap huge benefits to this platform. Samsung and SE....you'll made the worst move leaving symbian!!!

Nokia N8 with SPB Mobile Shell 3.7. You can see how fast it is even though it doesn't have a 1Ghz processor.

With good hardware ideas are endless. So hardware is king and Nokia is King. Nokia is doing what Apple is doing on it's Mac computers. Good hardware so, whatever operating system can be used without hardware upgrades. Unlike Microsoft which need to upgrade its hardware if using a new OS. Looks like Apple is losing it's touch.

Whats the big fuss all about. No Samsung or iPhone can beat the N8. It's hardware is perfect. Don't bother about the processor speed coz its not important at all. So what if the iPhone or Galaxy S has 1 Ghz. Its a bigger car(OS) so need bigger engine(processor). The N8 has a lighter body car(OS) so it doesn't need that big an engine. Either way it doesn't mean you have faster processor means you fast. Try putting in a 3L engine in a Mini and see it fly.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2010Why 16 GB ONLY? I need 32 GB.If you want 32GB than put in a 16GB memory card and you have 32GB. If you need more to back up, storage or use directly just plug in a USB Flash/Thumb Drive. Easy and even iPhone can't do.

ahkil, 21 Oct 2010symbian 3^ is not good, android is awesome go for it...........S^3 is actually very good. Its ahead of the competition in everything but the UI. And Elop just promised it will get the improvements promised for S^4, so no worries even there.

- MicroSIM card support only
- No Flash support in the web browser
- No true multitasking for all applications
- FaceTime video calls work only over Wi-Fi
- No file transfer over Bluetooth or USB Mass
Storage mode
- No hardware shutter key for the camera (cause it use touch to foucs both video and photo, no need to hold button to focus""!!
- No FM radio (I have unlimited data plan which allows me to use int' radio)
- No stereo speakers (I won't use it even it has!! phone spekers is for games!! Dock speakers are much louder for party time)
- No microSD card slot (16 gb on board)
- No smart dialing (voice dialling is smarter issit? it was on since 3gs)
- Too dependent on iTunes for loading (close nature of itunes attracts more apps dev as they know piracy is difficult)
multimedia content
- Poor loudspeaker performance (I said it is for game and ringtone!! I have speaker dock for party time)
Iphone is SHIT phone beleive me :)
