Ok, I think only a fraction of you read this review:
http://blogs.forbes.com/parmyolson/2010/10/13/my-week-with-the-nokia-n8/
It's a classic.
I don't know about you but I like my reviews done by a little more tech savvy person. http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/ has till now written a four part review of the N8 so be sure to check it out! Also, unlike here, the comment sections there are REALLY usefull and constructive.

Hi allllllll,
Why i love N8?
1. Price for its features.
2. Camera wowwwwwwwww for mobile segments.
3. Touch lovely... May not be that good like iphone but hold on it gives almost the same feel of it.
4. Resolution.
5. Browing provided wit good network. I use BSNL 3g connection..
6. Bluetooth transfer speed.
7. Scratch proof screen n body.
Some basic draw back...
1. To mark n delete ur inbox messages.. Hell
2. You receive a video file.. (3gp format). It doesn’t update on ur Video section of the mobile.
3. Battery. For my use its coming a day. i am almost 5hours on net.
Whatever guys one final word for N8.. Me sure u will enjoy the cell for amount wat u r paying..
Forget the comments. U afford N8 to buy, u enjoy N8. Guaranteed

This is a copy-paste comment from TR that was quite interesting and I thought someone here might appreciate it...silvercat13 said:
"I think that in this review there were more efforts in trying to provide correct information if compared to the hands on review. Thank you for this.
Actually you bring as weak points of the phone the following:
1) Nokia UI
2) Internet experience poor
3) Social networks integration lame
Point 2) and 3) may be worked-around by using Opera and Gravity, but still in 13 pages review you decided not even to mention those programs while discussing about it in the comments here...
Whether to mention or not 3rd party app is debatable of course, but, frankly speaking, in case you have some time, why not? If they can solve 2 out of the 3 problems you have higlighted in the review why you cannot mention this?
My guess: maybe you in Techradar decide only to review the phone as-it-is without efforts of tweaking the phone to improve the user experience... Indeed, it's also time-consuming to find a workaround and test it... Let's see whether this is consistent with the reviews of the phones that you have rated with higher marks:
Q.1) Reading about iPhone 4 you mention a very severe problem in the reception. This is a show-stopper for a lot of user.. Have you tried to work around it?
A.1) Yes, you put a bumper on it, spoling the nice phone design and commenting that the phone is now receiveing well. IMHO this is a terrible solution, but it's nice from you to have tried it out for those Apple lovers that would buy the phone even with this (additional) big limitation.
Q.2) Reading about the HTC Desire, the battery life is judged as decent but "it can drop a little alarmingly fast at times". This is a potential show-stopper... Have you tried to work around it?
A.2) Yes, you tried quite hard.. You suggested to " stop updating Peep, Friendstream and emails all day long" and even "set to '2G networks only'"; why not? you also suggested to make a tour in the App Market to download the Advanced Task Killer for killing here and there some over-consuming applications
IMHO this solution a bit extreme, it is definetely compromising the use of the phone, but it's really nice from you to help the users to have a better phone experience and not buying another phone because of this issue.
There is no phone which is perfect and it is up to the user to tune/tweak it to their needs. If you buy a phone, as soon as you see an issue in it, you will immediately try to find a way to solve it.. It's quite natural
I guess that you don't like the Nokia UI and you do not have intention to install Opera or Gravity (or other equivalent) in order to try to see whether the problems you found can be solved/mitigated.
Your approach (TR, I mean) is different when reviewing an Apple phone and a Google phones, so you can try to provide fair information to the user, but your reviews will be inevitably biased... At least till now... I hope you don't find this remark offensive and you will just evaluate it as a possible area of improvement in the future. Thanks"

Gitty, 17 Oct 2010I ve decided to buy finland made N8, itz hard to find it in... moreAll countries in Asia/US/Aust will get N8 that's manufactured in China except part of Western-Asia
Part of Middle East will get N8 that's manufactured in Finland because of the short shipping distance
if you're in india would you pay the extra shipping costs just to get "Finland" word?
it's Nokia product afterall same hardware same quality EVERYTHING IS SAME
