My complaints about n8, axctually not big issues
screen can be made larger
homescreen still need to be improved a bit, i am not big fan of widgets, follow finger movement
plastic port cover should use rough surface texture
give me the ovi browser, new obvi maps and swype now

in bangladesh grey is asking around 60000 where as nokia official price around 35000 and there will be a pre order promotion...so wait and get a good deal

I am a N82 user and I think the same as yours - N82 quality 5mp camera is more than sufficient. honestly after using my N82 for 3 years, N8 is my one and only choice phone to replace my N82.

My brother just bought this phone, I tested the camera, the funny thing is when the xenon is on the picture get blured, when its off I can shoot a good picture. I compared with other N8 its the same result. I live in jakarta, anybody experience like I did?

Just tried the N8 today in Seremban (i'm from malaysia) and I must say that i'm really impressed by how smooth and fast the phone is, despite how 'weak' (as all Samsung and Iphone fans claim it) the processor is. Camera works great and produces impressive images and the screen is responsive (not up to Iphone-level responsiveness but it is good). Some might say that the resolution is quite low but for me it is just fine and the pixels are almost invisible unless you look directly on the screen. Audio quality is as great as Gsmarena claimed. The OS does need a tad bit more eye candy but it gets the job done well and it is very easy to use the phone. The phone feels lighter than it looks and the size and thickness is just right for my hand. And for all of that is just RM1699! (RM3=1USD) (for those who think that is a bit expensive, the phone has just been in the Malaysian market for only 1 week). I'm so gonna save up my money to buy it.
P.S to all nokia haters - stop promoting ur phones over here! We dun care how good the samsung wave screen is, we dun care how beautiful the android os is, we dun care how smooth and fast the IOS is. We came to this forum cause we are interested in the N8, not other phones. Yes i know they are good phones, but we are only interested in the N8. The reason why gsmarena did not compare this phone with the galaxy s and the Iphone is because this phone is considered as a higher mid-range phone, not a high end phone (and it is certainly not a flagship phone). If you want to compare ur galaxy s/Iphone with a nokia phone so much, why dont you go ahead and compare with the N900, now that is a real high-end phone.

Most of the apps there are based on s^1 platform. It's quite understandable since the first s^3 device which is n8, is just being released to the market. Why did i bother to give the sites is because i do believe they will become useful in the future, when s^3 is already widely available.
You can always google everything though, because symbian apps is scattered all over the net. Compatibility with the new s^3 is still an issue only an n8 user can solve. Ovi Store is improving, but it's not everything like most users perceive it is as how they do with appstore and android market. It will be in the future though if my hopes are correct.
