Press the power button for 7 secs.the phone will automatically turn of.it works same as removing the battery.

Quite cute phone, no change of battery option , but did not look for a reset button as I believe there must be one. Most Programs no lag, but some like pictures and so on there is a slight lag. Feels good in your hands, but very Nokia, very Nokia. You won't feel you are having a beauty, but the shape is pleasant enough. A color one will be nice and I used the green. Being a previous Nokia user and now Apple , The N8 just brought back memories, not thrills. Available in Malaysia on Monday 18th. Latest.

Just read all the pages of your review, and as usual, it was very well done, all aspects covered and attended to.
One question however is that, if the battery is not User removable, what are we supposed to do when it hangs up?
Most times Nokia phones hang up, as they are prone to, the power button turns useless. The only option left then is to open the panel, take out the battery and put it back in, but if this phone doesn't come with the battery removable option, then what is the solution in such cases?

i m using n8, it is not so great phone as cliamed by Nokia, it has also bug that when ur photos reaches beyond 1000 and u click on Photos phone almost hangs, u can use it only to make calls. i hard formatted it then i lost OVI STORE and MAPS. when i again tried to install it says " Unable to install" means no ovi at all now. such a crappy UI and in my opinion n8 is a loser in terms of software

Hi frieds..
In India i think only China Make of N8 will be available. So friends who is using N8 in India(China make) kindly give your opinions about this device. Its working good or it have any issues?. Am looking to buy in a months time. I have heared that China make is having problems in it but the Finland make doesnt have any problems.. Waitng for the good reply from China make N8 users. Thanks in advance.

I experienced the phone in nokia priority store and i found:
1) The default browser is not so good but its so bad too, we can install opera or any other browser for surfing.
2) Symbian 3 is good but its not glamorous as android.
3) N8 design is far better than any other phone, like its difficult to put Galaxy S in pocket.
4) Touch is very responsive
5) I played angry birds & its working perfectly
6) I opened more than 7 applications at a time still no hang, no sluggish behavior
7) Camera is good & guys please don't compare mobile phone camera with real photographic cameras.
8) Video recording is also good
9) Ruff & tough mobile not like wave or galaxy s they are very delicate & i saw the broken piece of wave in chrome store & the guy only told me these phones are very delicate phones.
so, i would say its not the best phone because there is no phone in market which is best as every phone has some missing things but this phone rocks.

Nokia has promised a completely new browser soon though. While waiting I would recommend using Opera.

[deleted post]Well Samsung Galaxy fanboi, I actually did consider Galaxy S too, but got scared away by the amount of bugs people are reporting and the GPS problems.
USB OTG and camera sealed the on making N8 my choice.
