Not everyone does. Many people are happy when they can nicely browse the web and listen to music, and in such case I'm not sure if theres a better device for it than the iPhone :D

Although they are abit costy, but the chances are that you'll feel more home with the iPhones.

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010I already have the Iphone 3gs and I think that it is the gr... moreThat's a tough one and we'd need some more info. Your phone usage habits are probably built very much around your 3GS now, so it may be hard to say too.

Would you think you would have use for stuff like USB OnTheGo, FM Transmitter, TV-out connections, free offline navigation, are you pissed off at the connectivity between bluetooth and being tied to your computer and iTunes?

Until the N8 gets a new browser later this year, I'd say 3GS may get the honor of having better web experience. You may also feel the N8 seems slow, cos it has little to now transition animations unlike the iPhone, it in reality isn't slow, but it most likely will feel like that. Do you like the N8s outer design and materials?

You should probably go try it yourself. If you are very satisfied with your 3GS and don't find it lacking in ie. connectivity, then maybe you might be better off buying iPhone 4 for example.

Now i wouldn't change that either if that's the case.

hayato, 09 Oct 2010Okay i'll probably get the orange then. Silver 2nd option. ... moreI checked those out but didnt really like them. I got the Midnight Aqua-theme from Nokia, the new icons are really great and the Aqua matches the color of my N8 pretty well, the menus look pretty same color now.

I havn't ran into any major flaws myself yet, the biggest issue for me is the speakers location, which means you have to put the touchscreen against the table etc to get the best sound from the speaker when listening to music. I rarely use speakers, so not a biggie for me, though.

Symbian^3 and N8 are REALLY good straight out of the box.

Btw, have you installed themes on your n8? My favorite thememakers like ind190 already made symbian^3 themes. They all looked good. You should try those. :)

The anodisation is pretty thick and VERY VERY hard. Naturally you can get it away with like a knife or a screwdriver if you really try, but don't think it will end up as a problem in normal usage.

Yeah i was wrong, that's where the light surrounding the menu button are coming from. First i thought it has some wide gap between edges to have that effect, then i realize it's inefficient since it will just allow dust to come in. :)

Have encountered many concerns about color fading. That's why it became my concern too. Guess i don't have to worry now. Colors are not just brushed right?
