My first Nokia phone was the N95 which was bought in 07 it was the Asia version and it was made in China but that phone is dead now I ran it over accidently with my lifted golf cart almost a month ago so I need this phone soon let us know how yours turns out when you get it Mahalo...

I'm in Nashville, TN. I chatted with you a few days ago.
I got the first email today around 4pm Central saying they were preparing to ship the N8 to me.
At 9:40pm Central tonight I recieve an invoice email from Nokia, then another email showing it had been shipped. I don't see the tracking number on the last email so I will call Nokia tomorrow to get it
The last email from Nokia does show "shipped" though.

u guys only talking about samsung Super AMOLED Capacitive , bt dont u notify that the gprs class in nokia N8 is class 33 which is better than ur samaung class 12 for browsing.
Also the 12mp camera & HD video rec, HDMI port,better WLAN technology,FM transmitter...
None of in these case neither ur samsung galaxy nor ur Iphone 4 can beat nokia n8.
u can play better games in iphone 4 and see better display in galaxy bt nothing else.
Well i can do what i want with my n8 mean its more than a mobile like it has entertainment better browser, and also has a OVI MAP to guide our drive....
with the 12 mp camera i dont need any handycam or digicam any more..
i can capture my best moments with it...
Nokia N8 still ahead of all....

Here is somebody with the USA version.. This model is from CHINA if you look at the 6:00 min mark of the Youtube video you'll see it.. I guess USA gets the that version:-(

USA update on N8 - I just received my 3rd email from Nokia USA.com about my order. My N8 has shipped!!!!
I'll probably have it Monday since I got the Express shipping for 9.99!

s, 09 Oct 2010Why are all the reviews done on "made in finland"... moremost likely the USA will get the one from China.. cause its closer to the USA unlike finland its very far from the USA. Im remember when I bought my Nokia N95 back in 2007 it was from china if take the battery cover and remove the battery there is a tag where was made, mines says made by NOKIA so its from China. The one's from Finland will say form made in Finland.....

Nokia is not doing well in singapore after iphone hit the market, a few nokia customer service center have been closed, n8 is apparently launched at the end of november

n8 is very nice,but nokia made e90 is assume..any mobile go back in front of e90... nokia is always think about youth.. i dink e90 is bigger than n8,n8 is simply supperb.. if anybody want to buy a beautiful mobile then search for e90,after that u will choose n8 only... because e90 and n8 is assume...... supperb...
