I presume that android got numerous updates too when they are starting. Now symbian has just release it's ^3 version, an OS optimized for touchscreens only. Just few of more waits till we see who the real king is.

android is better than symbian, now its up to you, whether you can accept this fact or not!!!

I don't know though how much speed boost will class 33 give over class 32...

But to answer ur question; the fact that symbian can change the system font by the use of some 3rd party apps is a good enough basis to say that symbian supports those functions. They'll just not injecting it natively like your BB.

Personally I bought the N8 for totally other reasons than the camera. While I also love the camera cos its awesome to have a point and shoot quality camera always with you.
As a phone the N8 trumps most other smartphones out there.

The only thing one might hold against Symbian is that it is not as flashy. But its still is the most feature rich and nimble os out there.
Samsung & SE left symbian, because they do not have an ecosystem like Nokia does with Ovi. That is why they are borrowing the Android ecosystem. Sammy and SE have become box pushers waiting for google to tell them what to do.
Nokia is the smart one here.

Its Symbian lovers ... moreLook at the Outdated N8 Look, Font Characters not able to change, Accessibility,Applications, and so on This phone behind. Symb. is old program. Even Samsung / Sony tried then stop using it since customers from SE and Samsung not asking for what Nokia made over 20 years ago.
when you go to menu you looking at the same old icon as we seen for many years. Nokia take old Plastic 5800 and added bunch of widgets in front coping Android. what else you getting beside this and slow precessor that causes a lag on most applications reading. Browser is slow and does not refresh as fast.
Everyone only talking about how great Camera is? Why not just buy a Camera and then buy a good phone. Maybe N8 Camera is fairly good but is not as good as if buy Sony TX7. Nokia nothing happen past few years than losing market share to Samsung / Blackberry / HTC and iPhone. /i bought myself 18 years Nokia and finally had to let go since all i felt was frostration.
