3 Important are not part of Nokia within a month

13/Sep - Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President
      21/Sep - Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, CEO
05/Oct - Ari Jaaksi, VP in charge of Nokia's MeeGo Devices

In July 2010, Nokia announced that their profits had dropped 40%.

Nokia promised MeeGo Device before end of 2010.
I will be surpised if they can meet their promise.

[deleted post]Not quite. HDMI out, USB OTG, build materials and quality, battery life.

As a personal opinion id add in operating system too, as i prefer symbian, especially s^3, over Android

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2010You don't think right? Well No firmware update for sure wil... moreThose don't rule each other out. Galaxy S has things that the N8 can only dream about. It's still ALL about trade offs in mobile phones, that's why it's good to have diversity.

The N8 isn't any better than Galaxy S, Galaxy S isn't any better than the N8, on a "global scale". These are opinions. For me, the N8 suits me alot better, no question about it, but someone who never takes photos, doesnt have use for USB OTG etc may be better off with the Galaxy S.

It is, hands down, the one of the top smartphones out there along with the likes of iPhone 4 (I hate calling it a smartPHONE but ok then), Samsung Wave and the N8 for example.

[deleted post]You don't think right? Well No firmware update for sure will get the galaxy anywhere near the n8s ASTONISHING camera nor will it usb otg, real multitasking, scratch immune unibody aluminium casing or battery life.

Mark, 05 Oct 2010Yes I have read them, I like the Wave as a device better th... moreI too saw some issues with galaxy, hence my decision, plus I had been waiting for this and would've happily kept waiting but my phone died on me unexpectedly. Well, the wait is finally going to be over soon when it launches here in India. :)

And again, Images can lie mate. I have the device and it has its bad points of course, the display though is not one of them. I am sure I would've noticed had it had a blue tint, or read about it in any major reviews. Anyway, this is a discussion for some other day. And thank you too *sometimes it becomes hard to reply in here with a display name such as mine ;)*

Have you bought it btw ? Or waiting ?

[deleted post]Grow up already, that does not belong here (or really anywhere, cos that's very childish). Talk about the N8 or go vent somewhere else.

I just linked to that blog, if you read, you will see they have images from a russian review site, that has nothing to do with Nokia.

Lets see and compare later :) Thanks for the courteous discussion.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2010haha putting so many in less specs device?? welcome laggingMine doesn't lag. Overall it's probably not as fast as the iPhone 4, but I knew that from the start and it's a part of the tradeoff.

I rather have the freedom of Symbian with the HW features no app can give you. And I'm very happy with that decision.
