rock solid n8 rocks.... After belle refresh its refreshing new phone.. Wats great in n8 is that its not android lol... No stupid hdaches of androids ,cool phone ...bring back symbian 60 nokia people...

Xenon flash is much brighter but it only illuminates for a fraction of a second which is great for photos of moving objects. So if you take a photo of falling snow with xenon you see snowflakes, but if you have LED you get white lines across the photo. But for video you can't use xenon because it can't shine constantly, it needs time to recharge.

Hi is it normal that when you use the camera for video that the flash is not on ? how can you use n8 to capture video at night if the flash cannot be turned on :(

Hi Im from Malaysia I upgrade my N8 to Symbian Belle Refresh but i noticed that the camera quality degrades unlike before when Im using Anna.. Just want to know what is the best firmware in N8 where the camera quality is superb. Thanks :)

Last night I turned my phone off, connected it to PC in mass storage mode (yes it works when the phone is off) and then defragmented and fully optimized the E drive using Smart Defrag 2 which I use to maintain my computer. Some photos were in 20 fragments, and apps and games were somewhat fragmented too. And... It works better and faster now! :-)

However, in most times you will need to flash your firmware with phoenix if you want to recover all your default apps (yes, unfortunately this method will delete your default apps like: adobe, photo editor, video editor etc.) but at least you will recover your phone. To flash your firmware with phoenix you need this guide: http://www.n8fanclub.com/2012/10/re-install-update-flash-firmware-nokia-suite-phoenix.html . Download phoenix from here (i had problems flashing with the phoenix they provided): http://www8.zippyshare.com/view.jsp?locale=de&key=13737001 . Don't forget to disable antivirus before installing phoenix:).

no phn beats the looks the simplicity n user frndliness of n8, atleast not till now,these anfroids are shitty phnes,i wish nokia had bounced back with another symbian fighter device,but it married windows... Old symbian is left alone :-( ..we used to wait so eagerly abg new symbian 60 phnes,remember wen i bought 3310 6600 6630 8520 n70 n73 comunicator9500 e90 e 61i e63 e71 n8.... Now there is no thrill to look forward to new nokia launches... No light at the end of tunnel just windows .....haw....!!!

m using a rear cover,its black with bful engraved porsche logo n cayenne written im italics... Looks astonishing...bt no other screen ptotection ,jst i got jst the screen laminated..i dnt like those rubberised covers..

gud day evryone...the paint job on the n8 is not that gud so i carbonize my n8 and it rocks totally my friends wer amuse'bout it, now my n8 is carbon fiber black...u can customize ur n8 just like i did!!!...
