n8-(usb otg,fm transmitter,hdmi,12 mp camera with xenon flash) = n97
i didn't mention amoled screen bcz it os bcmng normal in high end phones.n do u think how many of u actually use fm transmitter?n usb otg?better buy a laptop n put ur pen drives in.n 12 mp?r u a photographer?then buy a digital camera.n the ui of android phones is more fluid but the only thong is that push email n im clients r really good on nokia devices.n the battery back up.i used nokia 5230 and it had a 1320 mah battery.it was good phone.bt this have only l 1200 mah with bigger screen n lots of extra features??i dnt think ne phone right now is a perfect.nw i m using wave.i m thinking to have nokia n8 or galaxy s.bt galaxy also lacks some features like flash etc.

N8 has virtual RAM like the E7 and N900. This means an ADDITIONAL 768 MB of RAM will be used when it is needed.

i have my cousin in Nokia . he advised me to but nokia n8 after December as the price will fall down around 10%. he told me that Nokia n8 will have limited application as compare to I phone and other android phones:( and will be around 16-18 k next year july 2010 :(

I agree with you.
The phone isn't slow but PERFECT.
Nokia did all the BEST to make this phone PERFECT.
680 + GPU = FASTER than 1Ghz.

But many ppl say that some N series (N97, N900, N95) are too slow... I want to ask U (as I think U know much about N8), are u sure that it will be much better than the last other N series? way far from lack..? No one complained about the performance of iphone 3gs which had also 600 mhz clocked cpu and 256 mb ram. and like u have seen the games worked well on the 3gs.
so why the games shouldnt work smooth like on the 3gs.
That means that that they need optimization like its said

Come on guys, stop saying this phone is slow and has a slow processor just because you saw some videos on youtube of someone playing some games on it and the FPS are not as you would like. Did you know the PSP-1000 has a 333 Mhz CPU and only 32 MB of RAM? It's not about the CPU speed, those games may look slow because they are ported from other systems, not optimized for S^3 and dont use the dedicated GPU. Once the divice is launched and the apps and games (coded and optimized for S^3) begin to come out we'll see the real power (or lack of) on the divice.
