8 OCTOBER RELEASE DATE
What a total joke Nokia are becoming, this phone should have been on the market in June but as always with Nokia they run into problems and I guarantee they will still release this phone half finished even if its as late as xmas time.
I so wanted to buy this phone but now I am looking elsewhere as not prepared to get messed around anymore with Nokia who cant finish a product and get it released like other companys.
HTC/Apple/Samsung and even Sony Ericsson are starting to make Nokia look like Alcatel or Sagem.
Anyway I have now washed my hands with Nokia

Just look at the Phone features!!!!!
xenon Flash Makes all the Big Difference..
add the other features, HDMI and stuff...
Id still go and love Nokia!!
than any other brands...
and when it comes to connectivity, i tried to bluetooth a picture from my phone to my friend's iPhone....
wew....cant do it!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever nokia brings something new, then this iphone and samsung fanboYS start shaking.
Yes they start shaking like dogs.
They start breathing like sheep.
Their eyes become big like the owl.
Thier cocks shrink like the skin of a 1000yrs old woman.
Let me tell u that, u can never bring nokia down a bit.

this phone looks great. as a nokia fan i think this will be the one for me when my up-grade is due ib october.could not be better timed.

But lately, the "Buy nokia at whatever price" population has been declining and most people are getting more value in other brands. And hence Nokia's number stay where they are because no one beats Nokia in providing a plethora of features in their low cost mobiles.
N8 looks good and Nokia should really give it everything (apart from the wonderful features), and it would benefit them immensely if they gang up with network providers and launch N8 subsidized, because US is today a very important Smartphone market and buying subsidized phones is the norm there.
Very few there will spend money in one go when they can easily get a better specd phone subsidized.

The iPhone dominates North America so it's crazy that Nokia is putting a Premium price on the N8 for the North American market!
The majority of people will most likely NOT consider or even buy the N8 as it's Ridiculously EXPENSIVE, especially in this bad economic times!

The phone specs look good while the phone itself is OK, nothing great! Then again, MOST of Nokia phones are NOT stylish anyway!
The phone is listed for $550 USD at Nokiausa.com!
Why the heck is Nokia trying to compete with Apple's iPhone? It can't even compete on Price!
It's TOO expensive!!!
If Nokia can LOWER the price, ~$400 USD or less, THEN it can compete with the iPhone!
Otherwise, Nokia should get OUT of the USA phone market!!
In this bad economy, NOT many people can afford ~$600 phone (incl taxes, fees, etc...)!
It's ridiculously OVERPRICED!
People in North America won't buy this phone (as the iPhone dominates there) and Nokia will have to settle for Europe! Not sure about Asia, though, as Nokia's best selling market IS in Europe!

nokia making big mistake of selling this phone equivalent to the price of unlocked Iphone 4. few people will buy this phone in USA. Since its cost in US is 600$ including taxes.
