Symbian is the best OS and very efficient in power consumption (Android is so power hungry...!).
Too bad that Trojan Elop and MS dump it.
Symbian can multi task 20 to 30 apps simultaneosly with only 256/500 MB RAM and 680 MHz processor with HD video... incredible...! Many other good things about this mature Symbian OS (the best OS in mobile history)

naren, 22 Aug 2016please tell me how i will get new n8 batteryTry eBay if you can't get an original. I bought a battery on GearBest a year ago, not genuine Nokia but good quality. It's still working OK, but it's no longer available there. I see similar ones on eBay for less than 4 dollars, and more expensive ones for 8.
Also, you need a special screwdriver to open the bottom of the phone, try a hardware store near you.

Nokia was a bit late to optimize Symbian for touchscreen and as a result they didn't catch up to Android in terms of features. I had two Nokia N8 as well, a dark grey and another a bronze edition. My thoughts are exactly the same as yours about the Nokia N8. Nokia is definitely coming back to the party with Android OS but I doubt they can hold against the Android giants without unique features. I'm currently using an Intex Aqua Fish (rebranded Jolla C) with Sailfish OS 2.0 and it feels really nice to use, after all it was developed by those excellent engineers at Nokia who worked on MeeGo & Maemo OS.

Use parallel space android app in your android phone to run 2nd whatsapp account. Yes. It is possible.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2016Don't know if Note 4 deserves to be named with N8 and 808 i... moreI am using Note 4 also. The camera clarity is equal or marginally more than N8 and 808 because of OIS. Overall N8, 808 and Note 4 are beasts.

5 and a half years & i'm still using this phone, this is an immortal beast...
Fell from hand for thousands of times, used it in the rain without any hesitation but still works fine, just some software issues as nokia stopped giving SW updates, but no major issues
This is what nokia stood for...
Within those years i didn't find any worthy upgrade untill huawei p9, i'm getting it next week...
If it turns out half the good as nokis n8 is then i made the right choice
