The last flagship beast of Nokia.
Sold 6Million units with pre-orders equal to iPhone.
Despite a hefty price tag and emerging competition from android and iOS
    The Redemption of 2010.

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2016Don't know if Note 4 deserves to be named with N8 and 808 i... moreI am using Note 4 also. The camera clarity is equal or marginally more than N8 and 808 because of OIS. Overall N8, 808 and Note 4 are beasts.

5 and a half years & i'm still using this phone, this is an immortal beast...
Fell from hand for thousands of times, used it in the rain without any hesitation but still works fine, just some software issues as nokia stopped giving SW updates, but no major issues

This is what nokia stood for...

Within those years i didn't find any worthy upgrade untill huawei p9, i'm getting it next week...
If it turns out half the good as nokis n8 is then i made the right choice

This phone surpasses every Nokia phone that has ever been made. and it is only behind 808(last Nokia after n8) just because of the"SIZE OF CAMERA PIXELS".

I used two Nokia N8. One Dark Grey coloured and the other one Bronze coloured.
Build quality was like a tank, it felt as if you have a phone in your hand that's made to last.
                        Design was pretty unique.
Sound quality through the loudspeaker was awesome.
Display was pretty cool, the blacks looked so deep and the contrast was just awesome with Nokia's CBD technology.
The OS which was Symbian Belle at that time, was so optimzed and had no Google crapware. Nokia Here maps was ahead of its time. It had themes option before Android got it and the dark theme was my favorite because it wasn't hurting to the eyes and AMOLED displays don't consume much power when displaying blacks so I could save some battery.
Camera was awesome. Picture quality was awesome. The Xenon flash froze moving subjects like the fan and the camera had a DSLR like shutter and a dedicated shutter key which was two step.. Even with zooming the pictures didn't look pixelated. It packed a large sensor and is one of the few phones to do so.
Battery backup was good despite the phone packing just an average capacity battery.
The only reason for the downfall of Nokia was that Microsoft trojan in the company and also to some extent, Symbian OS. It didn't have a great ecosystem of applications and wasn't very modern.. Today I'm using Android and I couldn't go back to Symbian as most of the apps and services for like the Nokia Store, Maps, etc has been disabled. Not that Symbian is bad but it didn't catch up to Android in terms of features and app ecosystem.

There are still cool apps out there.

Yesterday I tried the SPB Shell 3D on my N8 and its so cool. And installed Dungeon Hunter II which size is 305MB. Both run smooth on Symbian Anna

                                        Sad fact is.
Accurately there are 2799 applications designed by developers specifically "for this phone" But Only 220 of them are universal and best.
