The speed the files are transfered via bluetooth is no where near this wlan programs. I ca copy paste large movie files in less the 10 minutes.... So, give a try to the new tech. :). If you still like to do it more with the bluetooth then there should still be no problem.... Look one more time where bluetooth stores it's files. It is quite imposible for that path to be c: drive.

AnonD-20890, 10 Jan 2013To Carol : How to store the MESSAGES in memory card?. In... more:). O, how much i missed that option in my n8. All S60 v5 and earlyer devices had an option to change the whole message path. But there is no way of doing that in v^3. But, i got quite quickly used with the way v^3 is doing things. It is better. And now i would need that option only for backup. So it would still be useful. Anyeay, let's cut to the chase. Why would you send large files via bluetooth? I'm getting quite bored sending small files:)). Now bluetooth functions are not so useful to me, with all this new tech. Cable data is way faster. Ok, another thing is that... bluetooth will not store your recived files in inbox anymore, but in 'recieved files' folder in your mass memory. As long as your mass mem has space you can recieve big files to. So, to change the messages path is not needed now. At least, not for this function. You ca use also wifi programs if you don't like cables and you have wifi at your hause. Myexplorer is a very good and simple to use program. I'm using it almost every day. I have a shared folder i my pc where i store all my files i want to transfer to my n8. There are also all my programs and games. So i can acces that folder everytime my pc is on.

I don't know it either, i don't use swype. But as far as i know, swype is supported. Maybe you have an error stucked in your phone. You can read this, maybe this is your problem and you will find an answer. You can also try to refer to nokia discussions if this is not the case:

              To Carol :

How to store the MESSAGES in memory card?. In Nokia N79 and Nokia 5320 expressmusic and all there is an option called MEMORY IN USE (Messaging ---> Option ---> Settings ---> Other --> Memory in use).

But there is no such option in N8.

That too all files sent through bluetooth from my laptop (using send to option in laptop), it gets stored in phone memory C:\ drive instead of mass memory or memory card. Because of this, I cannot send any file larger than 95 MB. Any solution to this (other than directly connecting with data cable)?.

If you're planning to upgrade to a Nokia 808 Pureview bear in mind that it's a Symbian phone which will have limited support. This is because Symbian has been put in maintenance mode and will not receive any significant firmware updates anymore. It will only get minor bug fixes.

If you decide on the Lumia 920 you will need to take into consideration that it's running on a brand new OS (Windows Phone 8) and may be missing some features you are already used to with a Symbian phone. That being said, I've been more than happy with the Lumia 920 and still keep my N8 around for FM transmitter, USB OTG and HDMI. Plus of course the 12 MP camera, but for everything else the 920 is great.
