[deleted post]N8 is more expensive than n900. But the difference is slight. With contracts and all, it would be in the same league i guess.

And the matter of which... If u r a linux enthusiast and likes unlimited customization of ur phone n900 wud help u there. plus its got the actual keyboard and removable battery..

But if u are a media centric person, n8 is ur phone. Best camera so far and lotta multimedia capabilities like HDMI output and revised inbuilt video editor etc etc...

Plus, the app store for n8 is gonna be a much bigger than n900s current one though it may take a few months..

Casuse Symbian isnt as heavy as Android there is no need for 512 MB of RAM or a 1 GHz processor.

                  Cheers.

And judging by how N8, which was supposed to release in late may has still not come out. We are most probably looking at Q2 of 2011 for meego. Lots of time !

@Nuwan. Thanks. I really aprpeciate that - I think that this is the best place for me & in fac anyone else to be cooperative. To provide intuitive, factual, byte size, useful information on all aspects of Mobile phones technology ..like a place of refuge if you like for people to turn to!

Really most importantly though I think most of all people should approach what thy read here with a large degree of caution, All aspecys Mobile Phone discussion, not a stage to place world wars. hmm

As much as their is views, BIAS, people opinions, general rant, hatred, trolling, bashing, spamming lol etc.. I think right here should be the place to present useful information, technology facts & simple laymans terminology for those that don't understand it. This is the best to discuss product pros/cons advantages/ disadvantages, what is gimmick, what is useful for people.

@Dwane. Thanks Dwane. No is the answer ..the Radio transmitter is a tiny module integrated into the handset's internal circuit board. Their is no integrated placement for an internal ariel, however some phones do have an internal antenna.

To route the radio through your in-car hi-fi. You will usually need to plug the (attached remote heaset module) into your phone's 3.5mm headphone jack. The arial is wired into the (attached remote headset module stereo 2.5mm lead or 3.5mm lead. Then you will need another 2.5mm or 3.5mm stereo analogue lead to plug into the remote, the other end of stereo lead should plug into any aux input hi-fi system or in-car hi-fi.

I hope I answered this ok for you. Ask me any other questions if you like.

                                Thanks
