For those living in the UK, great news for you guys!! According to TechRadar, the N8 will be available for UK citizens starting from August! What's more, the DDPlus in the N8 seems to be a real killer! The 12MP camera is also a major selling point of the N8 where the output pictures can easily rival those of mid tier to high tier digital cameras.

I am not happy with the Voting system. There should be two types. One is Gsmarena's REVIEW score,the other should be our score. Our votes are not accurate at all, since people who hate this phone will give it 1;1;1, while Nokia Fan peeps will give it 10;10;10. Gsmarena's opinion will probably the best indicator.

The Phone will be available on stores accross on August 25. Spoke to a Mobile Store owner and he confirmed to me. Also the same was confirmed at the Nokia "Contact Us".

why u guys r always ready to fight and use harsh words...specialy some kids. just calm down guys. u dont have to fight for something which has not released yet.
let it release first. and u dnt have to fight even after it releases. dnt just show ur hot blood!! ....think before u use any harsh words. if ur n8 is good thn good n if someone's iphone4,wave,satio is good thn fine!! let them b happy with that.its all actually benifit of mobile companies.even apple has made their profit for their iphone4!!
every person has their rights to like things.u cant change their minds.if someone is happy with less featured costly mobile then whts ur problem??some ppl like to b different. and u n8 lovers can never b so different with this phone bcz...most of the ppl r going to buy this.then u wil regret urself seeing the phone in others hand!!

Guys I have a question. Is it true that Nokia N8 is the last high end Nokia smartphone based on symbian and after this they would be using meego for all their high end smart phones and symbian would be used for low end smart phones? But I thought they were looking to develop symbian even more with the release of symbian^3 and they were working on symbian^4 for next year. wow, now release oct? is later thane ever, nokia now follow sony step of release good phone but it terrible late schedule, aleast upgrade your cpu or something to make more comple phone for such late release.

Nokia is the first manufacturer invented smartphone.
Symbian is definitely a smartphone OS.
You are just plainly ignorant because your favorite so call OS (whatever it is) is not living up to smartphone standard.

Bt unfo... moreit IS a SMARTPHONE !!! not a feature phone, the OS is very capable, but it does not have a huge developer number like iOS or Android. It is certainly better than Android which i like very much, but it does not have the same levels of integration as Symbian, it's more like a "dumbphone" OS, (like BlackBerry)
