The Nokia N8 helps inspire the Eye-Phone, performs eye exams in Kenya
We've seen Nokia smartphones tethered to various lenses in the past, but in this case an N8 has been coupled with a opthalmoscope to produce a prototype 'Eye-Phone' that can help diagnose sight problems early in areas of the world where it's tricky to site traditional, bulky and expensive eye exam equipment. Try to keep the power button more then 10 seconds pressed, see if it vibrates 3 times. Keep it down until you feel this vibrates. If you don't feel nothing, plug it in the charger and leave it there more then 10 minutes, if still nothing comes to life, then leave it for an hour like this without touching it and do one more try. If all of this are unsuccesful, then it is time to take it to nokia care... If you have such a thing where you leave.

You will need to take it to repair cause i don't think you will solve this problem by reinstalling the software. You can try it though, if you feel like and have the tme to do it...

If you have whatsup, that eats allot of battery, also there are some self updating widgets that eat battery you can delete them from homescreen. It is better to use icons instead of widgets on your home screen. Also, download a powerful task manager and see what processes are opened. Most 3rd party processes can be saftely killed. (i like: Best taks manager, it is treaky to use at first, but after learning, will be your best tool). After this, do some research on how you should take care of you li-ion battery. You can find here some things, and also on google, allot of things.

Did you knew that you can use a 808 battery in your N8?
The N8 has a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1200 mAh (BL-4D)
Stand-by Up to 390 h (2G) / Up to 400 h (3G)
Talk time Up to 12 h (2G) / Up to 5 h 50 min (3G)
Music play Up to 50 h
The 808 has a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1400 mAh (BV-4D)
Stand-by Up to 465 h (2G) / Up to 540 h (3G)
Talk time Up to 11 h (2G) / Up to 6 h 50 min (3G)
So if you really need to change go for the 808 battery

Xeon 3.4.7 cfw
And u will feel the difference...No hangs n freeeze..
Smooth transition and fast..
Unlikely symbian is not at par with Android..but serves the purpose..

I regreted buying this phone so much! I mean... if only it was Android and not Symbian... But the RAM makes it even worse. It used to freeze all the time and complain that there were no memory left. My experience with this phone was just awful. I'm trading it for a Motorola Razr i. I just hope I'll have a better time with it.

I like it cause ut is striped down from useless apps that anna has. In anna you can find the same settings in 2 or 3 places, with belle you escaped from that. Overall is good and works fast. But sometimes i fell that is not so fast as anna is....

Just update to Xeon CFW and n8 rocks. The free RAM is about 129MB on startup and later reduced to 118-120MB. But the point is C: drive has 230MB free memory and more importantly there is a great speed boost in the speed. After this N8 never lags in installing sw, swyping list, opening app, etc. There is a still lag in browser swyping and hd games opening.
