That not wo... moreThen what if new and better devices like Meego device announced one or two months after the Symbian 4 device announced?
Are u going to wait for the new and interesting devices and give up the Symbian 4 device too?
Then you might wait forever.
I will stick with this babe since it can serve and please me for more than 2 years.

That not worth to buy this phone !
Better i wait a bit and get my Symbian 4 Device and im happy as to have the n8 which will be crap after symbian 4 release....

N8 will be released in Asia Pacific region end of July to mid August at the price of around USD 350. In India it will be released around end of August to mid September at the price of around USD 450. Its tough but its a fact that Indian fans will have to pay USD 100 more to get N8 as demand is very high and so are the taxes on luxury products.

Pex, 03 Jul 2010I have the n900 which is amazingly powerful compared to all... moreSymbian, unlike other mobile os was not restricted. Anybody could write symbian apps but the process of registering them was cumbersome. Thats why you don't have too many apps on the ovistore. There are tens of thousands of other appstores scattered all over the internet from which you can download almost any app you can think of. The only thing is you may have to sign these apps yourself before they install. Although the signing process is easy, many people don't know how.
Anyway, all this would definitely change. Nokia is the worlds largest manufacturer, i'm 100% sure that by this time next year, there would be more apps written in qt than available for the android platform.

n8 is the best.it will sell better than iphone 4. i know many iphone 4 owners are regretting for what they have bought! many of my friends are drawing back to their x6, 5530, n97minis!

the n8 is world shocking. its not even released yet. many are voting down because they are jealous. there are many things to boast about n8:
-tv out 720p
-hdmi 1st in the mobile world
-flash lite v.4.0 1st in the world
-dolby digital
-the most powerful xenon is found in n8
-fm transmitter
-anodized aluminum casing with diff colors which makes it alive
-impressive hours of music play(50 hrs)
-camera w/ 1/1.83'' sensor size
-powerful broadcom GPU with 3d graphics HW accelerator
-gprs and edge CLASS 33
-dvix/xvid
samsung's bada sucks. its the same as the corby's!

The size of the screen is acceptaptable, but I do not like its resolution, it should be of 704*400 to see my videos in AVI of Naruto Shippuuden every week properly, I wish Nokia changed the resolution, it is ok for n97 or the 5800 but they should offer higher resolution for newer devices such this one, considering it is going to be expensive. Ah, I wolud also like a faster cpu. The rest is perfect.

yeah your correct. with xenon flash i can even see pubic hairs at a party club it makes a DAY at night, this is the king of digicam N8.
So what if it has bugs, of apps fail, hangs etc.
just take note once you have n8, u just got a portable digicam with you, that can do call and text. no digicam can do that exept N8, this is the mistake nokia made, they just release a double edge phone, i will never replace my digicam N8, wew!
- yeah ur right, it add a space in my pocket, i just had a digicam and its name is N8, who care about wifi apps games processors, all we need is portability of gadgets, like this N8 a digicam that can do calls. period

[deleted post]..nokia failed with the n97, which is just 1 phone. apple who only has one phone has been failing since day 1 with its lack of features, limitations, and almost total dependence on itunes.
so no, we dont have the same issues as the isheep. also wait for the phone to actually come out. if you check out videos of the phone in use you'll see that its very smooth and fast.
