Im not as arogant as Vishal or Niraj..

Samsung's factories are on full load to produce Amoled and SuperAmoled.
So under Samsung's permission and observation by Samsung's engineers other factories are producing Amoled(Not SuperAmoled) So, thats what you are asking Samsung is not supplying Amoled?

Aitoami, 02 Jul 2010No its Samsung. Tell me who invented Amoled? No one can use... moreSamsung has various patent for 2nd Generation Amoled (one in N8) and 3rd generation Amoled (one in Wave). But Samsung is not supplying Amoled for Nokia. First Nokia is able to produce Amoled itself and Second Samsung display units are running on their full capacity. Tell me if they are unable to supply amoled for Htc then how could Nokia. Dont be arrogant, Samsung is not supplying Amoled for Samsung (but maybe Nokia is using Samsung patents)

No need to lie. Samsung cant supply Amoled to Nokia because their all display units are running on full capacity. Infact even Htc is ditching Samsung and moving for Super Lcd due to low supply by Samsung.
And for your information Every mobile company uses tons of Nokia's patent on their mobile.

Sam, 02 Jul 2010You know, in order to get to the developers, the phone must... moreThats why Samsung has announced million US$ price money for developing apps for Bada.. And thousands of apps are on the way..
Though im not a fan of Samsung(but of course a biggg fan of Bada-Wave..jejeje) but I should admit the truth.. That Samsung has always been the first to provide customers revolutionary products..unlike apple that just renames and builds hype..

To the fan boys of N8.. Its Amoled is supplyed by Samsung and Amoled is first generation display.. SuperAmoled is the next generation display.. And Wave has it..

Aitoami, 02 Jul 2010How many apps apple had when first iPhone was realised? ... moreSymbian is a far better os than bada. There is nothing bada does that symbian doesn't except that it outperforms bada. If run on the same hardware, symbian would out perform any other mobile os. Android, bada, winmo or the pathetic ios. What am i saying? Ios shouldn't be on this list!

I've been a symbian user since 2003. I can tell you for sure that symbian has over 1 million apps. Symbian has thousands of app stores scattered all over the internet. The ovi store is just one and is by no means the largest. Thats the problem. Thats why people cuz iphones. Because its easy to use. You know where to get the apps. Its just one place. You don't have to monitor ram usage or close idling apps. You don't need to install themes or change wallpaper because you can't. Symbian is designed to meet the needs of the average human being. Thats why isheep never seem to understand it.

Aitoami, 02 Jul 2010How many apps apple had when first iPhone was realised? ... moreYou know, in order to get to the developers, the phone must be interesting. Apple got more apps in 4 years, than symbian in 9. When I held the wave, it felt boring like a LG phone. I hope you are right. Samsung used to release revolutionary phones, like the D500. Now they seem to have lost their mojo. Even the I9000 isn't that "breathtaking" as the Iphone 4 (if of course you ignore the fact that the Iphone 4 has a default error).

[deleted post]How many apps apple had when first iPhone was realised?

                    Answer is zero.

How many apps android had when nexus was realised?

                    Answer is zero.

How many apps symbian had when first symbian smart phone was realised?

                    Answer is zero.

Now how many apps Bada had when Wave was realised?

                    More than 50..

Bada apps store was opened before first Bada phone was realised. So Bada has a upper hand above all OS.

Apple store was opened after one year of realise of first iPhone and look, just after 4 years, now they have more than 5 millions of apps..

No other OS had 600 apps in first 2 months like Bada.. Bada will have billions of apps in severel years..

The very fact is that you don't need apps for everything like changing wallpaper, Fm radio, Facebook etc...because Bada has it all built in.. And Bada store will develop just give it a little time..

Clearly, symbian guru was not a symbian patriot but a nokia fanboy. He expressed his dissatisfaction with nokias progress. That i agree with. But quitting on symbian just when symbian^3 is about to make its entrance shows just how enthusiastic he is about symbian. His making no mention of symbian ^3 in his writeup shows he has not had a feel of the os. My guess is he quit not only because of his frustration with nokia but also because he suddenly realised (like myself) that he is no longer a guru. Symbian is moving to an entirely new level, one which he has no idea of.

He's probably going through the crisis i went through years back when i realized my nokia n70 which ran s60v2 (and of which i was a guru) was in not compatible with s60v3.

Symbian is the ultimate os. No doubting that. The problem facing symbian is nokia and their minimalistic designs. There has not been any truelly high end smartphone from nokia since the e90. The n97 wasn't highend, it was just the flagship. What symbian needs is a super power house to demonstrate its capabilities.

Sad news for Nokia and Symbian. The symbian Guru has left the ship, and is buying an android phone.

Check his site, he declared that he's shutting it off.
