Yemko, 26 Nov 2012I'm still new to this phone, how can i disable that red fla... more:). You cannot disable that one cause is for the focusing. Without that read light, you have no focus in darker rooms. It disables it self in bright light conditions, where is not needed. What it does? Put's the light on the room so the camera can see where to focus it's attention. Without it your camera will take only 'blind' pictures. And maybe you will have allot of them blurry or not very sharp. Also be shore when taking a pic that the 'square' in the mittle becomes green after focusing. If it's still red, try to focus again so to have the sharpest photo this phone can take.

Now it is around $370 here, so i guess in US and EU you may find it for less than $200.

mr.Elop should take back that word, of abandoning. Then choose Symbian OS, and start MeeGo OS! And upgrade Symbian OS.

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2012I am extemely loyal to nokia. currently using a x3-02, but... moreWhy wasn't i honest? I just said what i would like them to do. And what would have bring Symbian back. I also said that WP took Symbian's place now, but i don't think this will be forever. At least, i hope so. Also said that now, Symbian being in maintenance mode, and Nokia earning money with WP, maybe we will see something in the future having our beloved system on board. Cause now, Symbian department has time to do something new for the system, and for the market, not that hasn't done that everytime when released a new high-end device. Android increased market it's market share in 5 years like crazy, and all that it is. It's a mixed copy between maemo/MeeGo and Symbian. Back in 2007 nokia planed to introduce maemo to the crowd but got scared like baby's and stopped pushing them. are this familiar to you? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Itos_2007_desktop.jpg , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Itos_2008_desktop.jpg , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Maemo5-screenshot.png . So, HERE was google's chance to copy everything and take this risk that Nokia couldn't (google had no pressure in mobile industry, isn't it? they could develop a system in 20 years). This could have been nokia maemo/meego n8 or 808. Unfortunately, it is not... But... now they can do the same with Symbian. Just wait for the market to be damm bored of that crappy copycat and crappy phones. And re-enter the market NOKIA stile! At least, this is how i see things, it is not like they will come true cause i said so:). Maybe some day, maybe never... But nokia should start doing something with their abandoned systems, cause those systems have power, allot of.

If Nokia can bring jolla with N8 camera and a mechanism to run android apps on jolla, it may comeback with a bang!! Nokia hardware is still highly valued in certain markets.
