If I have an N8 and sumbody will trade his Iphone 4 (I wish), 110% I'll take it. But if I have $1,000 in my pocket and plan to buy an excellent phone, definitely 110% I'll not spend it to Iphone 4 and buy an N8.

The flash question the way I see Adobe needs Apple more than Apple needs Adobe, If that was a major problem it would have incorporated by now. LED Vs Xenon dual is inconclusive, experts are torn between the two. Built in Radio, waste of space. FM transmitter was pretty crap on the N97 sound quality was really poor.

I too come from a Nokia background used Nokia for years till N97 came along. Had so many problems with the phone. The constant memory full and system error messages, crushing all the time, made me seek phones from else where. Unfortunately it seems these error messages are still present in Symbian ^ 3 and N8 and if not addressed will make the N8 feel more like the N97. They just want a phone that works as advertised that's why Iphone sells more.

in many places where they sell iphones there is one big problem that isnt the case with the N8. the apps. around here when u buy the iphone, and u want to install apps u have to buy them. and if not there arent any apps in the phone at all. and with the N8 the apps are already installed. At least this is what i heard...

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2010one more .... nokia N8 sounds good for a phone name that i... moreN8 sounds good for a phone!!! lol Now that sounds really desperate.
Look folks I don't use the Iphone am no iphone fanboy neither am I Nokia fanboy but if I was to choose between the two I'd definately choose the iphone. You will be amazed how many people out there still use old TVs without HDMI connection so to many it's is pretty much irrelevant.
The freedom to customise well, I wouldn't buy the Iphone if I wanted a customisable phone we do have a choice you know!. When I used the N97 all the apps I found interesting were only available for the iphone and a few on the Android. Gravity "twitter client" was the only app i downloaded from OVI. Iphone 4 will come with google maps, free navigation is avilable there too. I now use the HTC desire and love it to bits but again I say where hardware is concerned the only thing the N8 is better at is the Camera and that's the question I was addressing in my reply.
                                    Cheers
