Just checked out a Nokia store in Malaysia. Although the release in some places are estimated to be as early as end of August, in Malaysia (possibly in South East Asia -Singapore) would be around October this year.
But then, this is just from one staff there, not sure how true this is. Infact, one week ago, they didn't even know what was N8.

It will be available in 6 months. I was thinking about buying it, then I discovered *battery is not replaceable*. This puts buying it out of question! Considering that you start feeling battery degradation within 1 or 2 years, I consider it a major flaw in design and won't spend pretty bucks on it.

maybe nokia will come out with N8 8GB. so it will be cheaper with card slots available. phone memory is not a problem....

The shape of the phone is not nice. i belive cahnging the shape of the phone will lead to potential market.

price of nokia N-8 is 22000/- approx in India but it will come to india after July.

Nokia have announced that N8 shall come to India by September and price will br just 21019 INR (around 452 USD), much lower than expected!

Have been looking at the new Iphone 4 and this N8 and I think the N8 looks like it will be pretty crap, bad battery life especially. Would definately go the Iphone over this peice of junk

their videos shows that the touch responsiveness is quite good.
