DOn't take me wrong though, i know this phone is good enough for today or when it's released, but calling a phone with descent hardware with just a camera that is very nice for the new era is the biggest joke i have ever heard.

Secondly, only because Nokia sells more than other brands doesn't mean they are the best.
It's like saying Toyota is better than Ferrari only because Toyota sells much more than Ferrari. This is also something i'm laughing hard to.
Third. Yeah i watched the videos about the Nokia N8. But as an Android user i'm not impressed at all, not yet at least.
Yeah, the Nokia N8 will pwn the hell out of anything that have with iPhone to do, that's pretty damn sure.
But calling a mobile phone with descent hardware that is a bit old except for the camera for future of technology. Uhm, you can't be serious pal.

you are counting the extra features of the n8 !
not every one needs these features,if i am in home i would better connect my blue-ray player or my laptop to my hd tv to watch a movie or any hd video,and if i put a movie in my phone that means i want to watch when i am outside.
and this usb otg ,as i understood it should allow me to connect flash usb to my phone ,is that right ?!?
the camera of samsung wave is outdated!!,may be because it is the first to capture hd video @30fps ?!
and then you wrote no hd video output which i think it equals no hdmi.
the price is about $510.

I love Nokia N8, that's all I know. I don't care what you guys think of it but one thing is quite sure, this phone is the new-era phone. Nokia phones are the most selled phones ever, everybody knows that. And I can't say if it'll be good or not, but come on guys! Haven't you watched the videos about it? It's a marvelous phone and it has nothing to do with the iPhone. It can have similiar apps and stuff but it's Nokia, we're not talking about Palm or HTC, it is Nokia guys! This is nothing but a magnificent phone and it's the future of technology.

At 854*480 motorola milestone's display is still the best. If you dont believe me,go and have a look at it first.Nothing even comes close to it.

Tom-Helge, 29 May 2010Bingo, your the first one to finally see what i'm also talk... moreif n8 sell under 400 i think this phone will booming.like i said tom i already have tasted SE M600i and they never support the FW,p910 too.im also a pride owner of K750 and W810,K750 was stolen and now i use my W810 as a modem XD
528 for X10 is cheap enough but i think i will still go with n8,USB OTG and FM transmitter are the 2 things i will love to use,16g onboard 16g on memorycard and 16g more room with flashdisk that will be something i cant refuse.
camera picture quality is not my top priority cause i have dvd cam and sony digital camera,i think i can stick the sony digicam memory card to card reader and stick it to n8 usb OTG right? XD
N8 is an all around device i think like 5800xm so versatile and handy.u still have alot of thing u can do with it.i almost believe that i was pick on a wrong phone but thats until id tried CFW.
now i have almost 8000 pic + 50 folder full of manga and comicbooks + dozen ebooks + 50plus mpeg4 movies rip from dvd that old 5800xm still can handle it smoothly,dont forget alot of apps that can help me to do alot of thing.
writing docs online,bluetooth pc remote,remote desktop,streaming media files from my pc,sharing conection via 5800 wifi,playing gba emulator,drawing,radio? X10 dont have a radio right? well i will missing the built in compass but 5800xm can do almost the X10 jobs.later fw update for x10 will never bring drawing ability and radio right?
so why i will find any interest with X10??
n8 have that new feature USB OTG and FM trans plus compass thats the 3 things i dont have in my 5800xm.cheaper than X10,able run with 15apps is a big bonus too.
if im not wrong i've read it somewhere that android only able to open max 5 apps and the 1st app will close for memory reserve.so n8 with 15apps is a huge thing even if n8 will only have 1yr support for new fw i think most of the people will find it as a nice phone. ^^v

if you can afford an N8, go ahead and buy it, it's that simple. No more my processor is faster than yours, my browser eats less data bull crap. it all just a matter of personal taste. same thing with a samsung or an iphone, if you can afford it, then buy it, stop postin' nonsense on this site.

Also it have only total one thousand message storage (with inbox, sentbox and draft). Maximum outgoing Mms size only 295 kb ( I used to send Multimedia messages to friends, because its looks like presentation, you can add music in background, a photo and your message in one). By the way what is the build quality of Samsung Wave..

phones fan, 30 May 2010in gaming the more the resolution the better the graphics w... moreGood research but it is for LCD not Amoled.. And also a normally eye can only see upto 220 ppi. But if you will concentrate on a object on the display for more than 60 seconds then the human eye can see upto 300 ppi..

N8 have got good design I beleive. Initially I didn't like it but later I started liking it more because I can assume design is such that I could handle it very comfortably specially in landscape along with it has a overall trendy and unique feel.
