N8 tested against N97 an the N8 180% faster an this is only the Prototype N8,so the N8 when released might be even Faster,thats why Nokia are keep Quite about Showing of the new Symbian3 software,want to show Apple an Anroid they are still the Best Phones an Software on Nokia mobiles

Niraj, 25 May 2010First if anyone want android then why X10 why dont Galaxy S... moretotally agree wif u....i cant see any reason the software developer dont wan create software for sybian....for sure nokia will launch more model in future wif dis new OS this is a jackpot for them.....wif dis kind of price and spec im sure that nokia will be selling like crazy..... and for those who ignore the trend they will regret later on after watching the other s^3 software developers become the nex bill gate....

Second Iphone started from zero application and Android also. But symbian^3 Has to start from thousands of applications.. I dont see any reason that developer will not make application for Symbian^3.
#1 Symbian is still World No 1 Os.
#2 Symbian^3 comes with qt inbuilt, so if developers will make application for s^3, it will also work on s^4, Meego and future Symbian version. Unlike Android where developers have to rewrite their applications for each platform..
#3 Previous symbian^1 was based on OMAP 1.0, so there was no good games available for it. But S^3 supports OMAP 2.0.

This phone will once again be compared to new iphone
in my opinion. If this phone does not have camera ,it is more cheaper and even bettes than iphone, may be the best selling phone , all the fart app dev come back

Once again. Let's compare the app store to a restaurant.
One has a menu of over a hundred different foods. However, the quality of the foods isn't always good and 95% of those foods are desserts. Then there's another restaurant that only offers a menu of 30 courses, but those are filling, tasty and something that most people would eat. Which restaurant would you go to if you are hungry? You could take either, but neither is better than the other! It's a question of taste and preference, so please stop drawing the 'appstore' card.

Even Android 1.6 that is on my XPERIA X10 had alot of apps installed when i got it.
2. Android still have alot of programs with it like Symbian would, but Android is far from being a toy OS.
3. Android Market have 50k+ apps to browse through. And you can find ALOT of usefull applications there. With that many apps there, i'm pretty sure you can find alot more usefull apps there than Ovi Store that doesn't have anywhere near as many apps as Android Market have.
And how many applications are there in total in Ovi Store?.
