I have done quite research about Android and iPhones But the N8 has something that 95% of today phones don't have. And that is 'Software Assistance' which means substituting software with hardware.
The only exception of hardware in N8 is switching on the phone with the use of 'physical button' (also done by Restart App) Other than that we can do everything on N8 without touching its 'external physical buttons' That is the unparalleled heart of Nokia N8

AnonD-20890, 27 Apr 2016Have u used Nokia 808 pureview?.Sadly, no. They didn't sell many in my country and I never have enough money. Maybe some day. I have a display unit though (a dummy for shop windows) so I know what it feels like in hand. :-)

S . SUDHAKAR, 05 Apr 2016Yes man. Nokia N8 and 808 pureview are same in photo clarity.Of course the 808 is a masterpiece and I still want to have it some day. I didn't mention it because they don't make them any more so maybe it's not a "modern" phone... But it's still a beast. :-)

Some remind me of the N8 a little, for example the Galaxy S7 has an always-on display and the icons are similar to Nokia Belle, the camera is pretty good too, but then no other phone has everything that the N8 has. My usual complaint is that basically none of the modern phones have the simplest thing called "wrist strap eyelet" (which I use and need) except a few Sony phones. And if we talk about Xenon, there's nothing out there. Without taking display size and internet-features into account, very few phones can compare to the N8.

N8 is very slippery without the amzer rubber casing. Rest all it is a good phone.
