symbian are for smartphone and mobilephone..meego are for internet tablet and mobile computer..if there is two symbian flagship it will be n8 and n98..and for meego i think is a successor of n900.. Its real that n8 have a low resoluti0n compare to other phone..and there's apple 4g that will ann0unce this next m0nth..impressive resolution..900 x 480..if im right c0mpare to 640x360..and nokia's ovi is full of junky apps compare to android and iphone apps..many developer work for android and iphone..i hope that they also work for symbian^3..

So terrible display resolution... Disappointment for mobile internet users, but as someone here said, its a Symbian limitation, we cant expect screen resolutions higher than 2008 level from Symbian units then =(

this is a cool mobile from nokia.im eagerly waiting for it.
my only doubt is with non removable battery what should 1 do if the mobile hangs and dosent shutdown as the present mobiles do.

after n8 release there is m0re to come.. Nokia announce that there will be two flagship..one is n8.. And one will be either n98 or a device with MeeGO os inside..there will be n0 meamo 6 device..

dont c0mpare the speed of iph0ne 3gs and n8.. Even if n8's arm 11 680mhz is no match for iphone3gs' arm c0rtex a8 600mhz..arm cortex a8 is dual core..just lyk n900 pr0cessor..but symbian3 d0esnt need higher processor speed because it is so light..each os and phone are unique and other factor is apps store..

Majority of ppl in the world still want to use nokia. even if alot of developer run away from symbian a lot of new developer will make apps for symbian cause majority of ppl still using symbian. maybe in 2~3 years time android can monopoly the smartphone market but till then nokia symbian is still pratical for everday use. so alot of ppl will buy this phone while waiting for majority of ppl change to android OS.
for me time to change to android is in 2~3 yrs time.
