hmm I guess NOKIA now released their first ever nice elegant touchscreen phone..i think so far this is the best i've seen from nokia..congratulations now you live up to my expectations...ill be waitng for this phone to be release in the philippines....

The main drawback of any new operating system is lack of applications.So I think Nokia N8 and all the mobiles based on new OS will suffer this problem.So it is better to delay the purchase date of Nokia N8.

I'd read this was supposed to have optical zoom but it doesn't seem to be in the specs. Not complaining, mind you, the feature set is incredible and it's probably better without optical zoom because that sucks too much battery.

android smartphone with high end spec is still expensive. no camera lens like nokia CZ. they should put a leica lens on android phone. that should be a bang!!

Will it be the only factor(resolution) for a phoNe to count as high end? How bout the camera? And i think if that so called n98 or meego fuTure phone of n0kia will be announce, definitely it doesnt have the camera like of n8

it is removable but you need a screw driver to unscrew it..if you manage to unscrew you may lose its warranty..thats the issue..let's see the review after n8 release..do not rush to buy..think twice..each unit and os has its own pro and cons.. Its c0st 370 euro or 485usd before tax..

symbian are for smartphone and mobilephone..meego are for internet tablet and mobile computer..if there is two symbian flagship it will be n8 and n98..and for meego i think is a successor of n900.. Its real that n8 have a low resoluti0n compare to other phone..and there's apple 4g that will ann0unce this next m0nth..impressive resolution..900 x 480..if im right c0mpare to 640x360..and nokia's ovi is full of junky apps compare to android and iphone apps..many developer work for android and iphone..i hope that they also work for symbian^3..
