Others... morei think u go to study science better....so much worries... aluminium body is to make the phone light when take in hand and oso attractive..... and another thing is Nokia N8 of course is not perfect but at least a good starting point from Nokia... No phone is perfect sure got some weakness in the phone.... if the phone is really perfect from any aspects like camera, sound and technology, i dun think u got the ability to buy

1. Nokia is the 1st brand having the 1st hd and 12mp and xenon flash phone only.... how u noe other brand s working on it? are u the manufacturer.... please refer back to the recent news... dun predict sumthing that havent happened yet

Everybody sais this and it is true !
So i just have to add that PEOPLE HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THAY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY POST !
everybody thinks they are some kind of genis without realising that maybe engineers at Nokia are somewhat smarter than them...Damn, you all think you've discovered some obvious thing that Nokia overlooked =)))))))) or don't you think that people at NOKIA got to a point whete they OPTIMIZE specs with requirements of the OS. YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE A BIG HEAD TO BE SMART !

I'd have to agree with the comments from "anonymous": the days of the sub-800x480 resolution screens are over, and 256MB RAM doesn't surprise anybody anymore. True, it's a Symbian device, but on the other hand, who wants to browse the Internet on such a low-resolution screen (even Apple is upgrading their iPhone) and why? Don't get me wrong, I want a Nokia, but I'm still waiting for a device that can wow me.

Last year screen? Lol, SE phones low and middle end, have like 2/3years old hardware and software and more pricey than the other phones on the market, so stop whining every mobile company have their Cons. This seems a good phone, tough i would like to see android and a qwerty keyboard on it. But symbian^3 seems rockin' and i saw a shot of a qwerty version of this one, so everything is gonna be alright.

1)WiFi n - Wrong! Others have had it draft form for ages, the draft has just been verified so a firmware update will make it official, so Nokia is behind again.
2)HDMI output - Unless it's got a great battery life & a brilliant grafix card inside an utterly pointless addition.
3)USB port support. you can connect your memory stick or hard drive directly into the phone. - Attach a USB HDD & it'll be good night within a couple of minutes as the battery will be drained at a phenomenal rate, so no phone, no HDD either, so pointless unless it's for data transfer from a PC/Laptop or Mac.
4)Dolby Digital surround sound technology. - Useless in the UK as you need a PPL (Public Performance Licence) to play music in public, it's also illegal to play music aloud on Buses, Trains, Trams or anywhere where it's likely to cause a nuisance to others, so is only of any use maybe in Noise Cancelling Headphones.
5)12MP and 720p both into one phone - Yawn, others have already been there, done that, Nokia is at least 18 months behind the rest & you don't need stupidly high pixel counts unless you intend to produce super-sized prints, that's A3 upwards.
6)5 band 3.5G support. - So what, it's useless without the other networks to back it up.
7)Aluminium Uni body - Expensive to buy & expensive to replace as you won't be able to repair it easily if at all, it's also a good conductor of heat, so don't leave it in the sun, it will burn you when you pick it up & conducts static electricity easily too so will be easily zapped by everyday static produced by your clothes or other means.
Good design? No, seriously flawed & poor design.

I hope nokia makes a widget that let us slide it to lock the screen, and when we press the menu button the widget shows up to let us to slide to unlock the screen.
Or there is any good ideas

slide to unloc... moreThis phone has threaded sms ( Nokia say it Conversational Sms) and new music player.. If you triple tab on the screen anytime anywhere, it will bring you to music player..
Web browser is same as n97 but more polished and get some features like visual history and pinch to zoom.. While I dont know it has got slide to unlock or not..
