Lets hope Nokia don't make the same mistakes with this phone as they did with the N97. I switched to HTC because of that waste of a so called smartphone.

in S^3 the UI is GPU accelerated. Hence the 60 FPS speed that has been reported by Nokia. Good stuff!

I use Nokia N86 8MP at the moment, and my girlfriend has SE Satio. Must say that Im very satisfied with my N86, but I miss that super powerful xenon flash like the one on the Nokia N82, which I had before the N86. But at the same time I must admit that Ive never seen a double LED flash as strong as the one on my N86, which is especialy useful for video recording in low-light situations. I thought SE Satio is the perfect phone because it has both types of flash, but I was very dissapointed when i saw how weak is its xenon flash, and the video led flash is completely useless. So my greatest hope for N8 is that xenon flash will be as strong as the one on the N82, and if the video LED flash is as powerful as the double-LED on my N86, this would make it a perfect camerapone and smartpone on the market, and I will buy it as soon as possible!

otherwise seriously dude the specs speak for themselves. But honestly there's no point comparing it to iphone and stuff, the N8 is on a league of its own. I mean 1st 12 mpx shooter with the largest sensor and HD capabilities, the ist symbian^3 device and loads of other feats.

What you looking for both have pros and cons but if you take the UI as a start the Symbian for Nokia's UI feels a little old and tired to me. That's not saying am not gonna buy it i'll still go for nokia just wish that they could up the anti a little bit.

when n8 posted on gsmarena at the first time i could really think it would be at least 1 ghz processor..coz the 12 mpix camera need its power for real to maximized the true color of it character..but the bosS says a many different things and make me feel unsatisfied real deep in my heart as the loyal user of their products..really thanks to all the staff of gsmarena for hard works all these time.
