It looks like the cellphone is kept inside the docking station. Remove the extra fat around the phone it is the sleekest phone with the best configuration and value for money.
The design turns me off. They should put some effort and technology to shrink the thickness and work on the design. Look at the E series phone, why they have to design a brick again when they have done excelent work on the E series. Anything above 10mm does not make any sense. For flash it already have the bulge, rest of the phone should be max 10mm.

My only concern which I find very reasonable is how well built is the hardware? Can we compare it to SE and Samsung??
Other that that the new OS and specs are super and anyone that doesn't admit it is just a totally baised unfair humen.

The ARM 11 probably helps the battery. If it runs good, why do u need a better CPU ? The E71 runs great on 370 mhz CPU

Again the CPU is low, but this time with hardware acceleration. Oh Nokia why give us some many things but slow CPU.
I understand some fans will say the symbian will run smoothly but a better cpu would have done more justice for symbian to compete against other smartphone vendors.

Issues for people from Nokia! Where the super AMOLED screen as the Samsung? Why are there no more powerful CPU? Where is dvix player? Samsung already uses a 1GHz and DviX! not to mention the Android????

And by the way SE Satio also has a 600mhz processor but does this make it a bad or slow phone?? He*l NO!!
With Symbian os the 600 mhz is just great trust me! So no worries at all ;)

The reason why I care the CPU speed a lot is particularly for the internet speed(Both Wi-Fi and 3G), which is very dependent on CPU speed that no ARM11 could beat Cortex-A8, as proven too many times in so many benchmarks.
If I am to buy any Nokia phone, it'll be N900 with great specs, although I've never seen.

wow it is amazing set with 12 mega pix and Xenon flash but with very poor processor 680 MHz processor only and an old operating sys (Symbian) too
i will buy my own when i reach to egypt
can anybody tell me where can i find it ?

So just ignore and enjoy the victory lool. Trust me samsung users are really pissed now because their company gave them a big slap on the face when the released their new flagship with no flash!
Well guess what? I think Nokia gave them a pretty da*n lesson now loooooool.

OK Nokia, a nice phone.. but here is want i want to know..
-Is web browsing smooth as Iphone?
-Is there a flash in web?
-Is the UI (even it is look like a symbian 5th ed) will be smooth as an iphone?
Im asking this because Iphone got the smoothest UI but the worst OS..
while Nokia got great OS (in terms of workability) but has the worse UI.

Well this is what I call the different between a winner Nokia =
12 mp + xenon + Hd recording.
And a loser Galaxy S=
5 mp + what flash? + Hd Recording

You can have a very powerful processorbut what's the use if it drains the battery in a few minutes huh???? Look at HTC mobiles with 1Ghz CPUs, the customers complain about poor battery life, because the powerful processors drain the battery fast. That makes the phone useless!!!
All of these cpus are capable, it is just that they are clocked at a certain speed to give more battey life , providing good speed at the same time. Nokia is sensible, that's why they cncentrate on allround performance, rather than just speed. No hard feelings bro, but the N8 rulz!!! :)
