I believe that there’s no one out there who can kill the iphone except from Nokia.
Ever since it came out in 2007, everyone tried to follow the design and come up with something better. HTC does well and Samsung (with the Galaxy and Wave) are also catching up. However Nokia NEVER came up with something in that design and functionality. The N8 was my hope that the iphone would go down. But considering how UGLY this phone is, and how it has a ridiculously low resolution compared to the competition, then definitely once again Nokia will EPICLY FAIL.

the phone looks ugly to me , even if it have 1080p hd 50fps & 20 mp camera , nokia got the worst cameras ever my almost 2 years old sony ericsson w910i take better pictures than most of the new nokias

Nokia to increase the RAM to 517, ROM to 950 and CPU to 2gb of this N8. And also increase the battery to 1500
The design is okay. It is not design but the workability of a mobile phone or other products.

i came back and check out the specs again. wth? 680mhz? no 3d accelerator? 3.5 inches screen? i thought it was supposed to have 1ghz, 4 inches screen. sigh. nokia....tsk tsk tsk

i think there is a LED flash incluided next to de xenon flash
for video capture

12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Xenon flas ,Geo-tagging, face and smile detection
Video 720p first phone with 30fps is nice but the os and design are crap

since this is just a preliminary release, i'm expecting a much more improvements in the final release, nokia is still the best!

Yeah I agree with almost everyone...Terrible design! WTF were they thinking? Even if they added a metal frame to the production version,it would still look nasty! And yeah, why not a 1gig processor? Or more RAM or ROM? What ever happened to NOKIA? I think they care more about sales than customer satisfactory...Remember the Nokia N95 when it came out? It left everyone in the dust! This is just #####! If they launched this 2 years ago, then I would love Nokia! Eish....I better start looking at HTC :( Nokia should really wake up! Does anyone know when they going to make a touch-screen E-SERIES?

i was looking forward to this phone till i found out it only had 680mhz prossessor why can't they stick 1ghz in like the rest of them and 256mb ram. think i'll start looking at other makes for a new phone

what's new here to me is just the shape if the received file can go straight to the memory card then it can confuse me.
