finally smoke is cleared...
wat did i expect in this phone which is not fullfilled???
1. 1ghz processor,atleast 800mhz
2. wvga resolution
3. symbian^3 but not this symbian^3
4. 1500 mAh battery
5. lens cover
6. kick stand
7. divx/xvid playback
8. better design
i guess many of us have expected the same(may be more)..some of us were thinking-"wait u htc,se,samsung,i-junks my nokia will release a better phone than yours,then i will infiltrate your forums"...aftrall this site is ARENA ie gsmarena...but ended up with a fuss....one of my heartbroken friend used to tell-"dont expect anything from anybody it hurts a lot"...now i am realising why i didnt listen that poor guy then...sorry my dear friend your were right...had i listened you then,i wont b hurt now....
dont worry nokia i am your great fan...i wont give up...i will expect even more from you..so that u wont be able to catch up and i dont have buy any nokia phone...
its my innocent emotion...im crying...wait....im not crying...im washing out all the moment wasted in eagerly waiting N8...

16 gb internal storage?? No comment. N97 has 32gb.
And also only 256mb of Ram...again: no comment.

You gotta be kidding me! Only 680 MHz CPU??? Vivaz running Symbian^1 has 720 MHz!! BTW, the only thing that looks cool is the HDMI port....

Can"t wait to see the Hdmi ports Nokia have put on the N8,as they have changed it from the original ports used on the Mobiles,read a Review on some internet sites,an Nokia better sort the N8 before the finally release it,or like the reviewer as said Nokia Are Going Down,an its there own fault if the do go Down,supposed to be a Top class mobile producer but getting shown up now by Samsung,Apple an even Sony Ericsson,so how are Nokia going down down deeper an down an what a Status Quo at Nokia, the company wants a big shake up to sort there strategy out or will end winding themselves up because people will start buying alternatives mobiles instead,i even bought the Satio because of Symbian software was same as on my previous Nokia phone

It kills me to see that Nokia does not put letters on the number pad when dialing... did they forget that it can be usable sometimes *AND* that it does not take an hour to implement?
At least DRAW the letters on the interface! Bastards.

Can Some one Stop Nokia ...got Sick of the same old Junk Interface...its Such a big company and why cant they re-vamp their UI and designs..Nokia should either Hire new people or Fire the current Design Team...so Boring

What the...? No 1GHz processor? Shame on you, Nokia! And the display is only of 360x640 resolution. The design could've also been a little less dull!

After viewing the review pict of N8, i think it almost same as S60v5 like Nokia N97 and X6. Just a bit changes in UI...

it seems like nokia really made a great phone, but still, nokia heaters post stupid comments like: i don't like the resolution, i don't like the os, needs keyboard... lol, what do you guys want? when the iphone came out, it dind't had video or copy and paste and they worship it... i really don't get it..
i think it's a great phone.
PS: i am hoping that sooner or later, some phone will be able to emulate iphone apps so that apple won't have any advantage on their device.

What??? Nokia is crazy??? Only 680MHZ CPU, and 16Gb of internal storage? This is a new N96, NOT a new great smart phone. If these specs are true, then SHAME on you Nokia, I can't tell something else, sorry. Maybe my comment will be deleted, but I am right!

A) nok n series is always a let down...
B) symbian...
The phone will keal over and die! look at the satio... it just don't work.

640x360 it's a good resolution. It's a quarter of 1280x720. For me that's fine.
