I guess this phone will be very very good.
But I still highly doubt why this device deserves all 9.7 superb average on vote--Much higher than Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire, or even Nokia N97 the bestseller--since nothing is confirmed for this device.
With 360*640 resolution, an age-ago limitation of Symbian S60, I really don't know what Nokia is doing. Did they purchase a new 4.0" AMOLED with 360*640 res from Samsung? (apparently Samsung is the only company that provides mobile AMOLED screens) Or just downsampled it?

I truly and wholeheartedly hope I can manage to wait until this mobile is out. I'm in dire need for a good Nokia handset with FM transmitter, and so far:
1) N900 doesn't have full ovi maps, its OS has potential but still lagging behind, and could be dropped in favor of Meego/Maemo 6 with no update in future...
2) N97 is too buggy, laggy, and cannot be compared to android or iphone OS.
3) N97 mini, solves some N97 problems, reasonably priced for 8GB, but no FM transmitter.
Plus, 32GB is only a status symbol for the flagship. I'd prefer to have 16GB device, for a better price, with expandable SD cards. Nokia CEO plz read this ^^

Finally Nokia has decided to release a another phone with a Xenon flash (still have my n82) & its a touchscreen & 720 video, & no symbian s60 thank goodness, looking forward to symbian 3, I am in heaven

I really hope it doesn't have all the software issues that 5800 or N97 had...
And i hope also that it doesn't have all the hardware issues that N97 or N86/N85 have...

I found one website which seem to give updated news for this nokia N8 Vasco mobile http://n8nokia.com
This gives me confidence that the mobile phone is not a rumour.

"Oh, God! This device will rock the market!" or "Damn! It'll shake all the phone world!"
But just a few months after its released, the story changes...
People complaining about crappy build, about software issues, about stupid hardware problems...
Look at N97, for exemple: THOUSANDS of costumers complaining that when you slide the phone, it scratches sumthin'.
And what about software related?
Since EVER, you can't fill up to half memory card/phone memory, withouth it starts freezing or laggin'.
I'm sure i don't want a phone that you have to:
Step 1. Turn it off
Step 2. Remove the battery
Step 3. Remove the microSD card
Step 4. Remove your dignity
Step 5. Hold down all the buttons
Step 6. Turn it on with all buttons pressed
Step 7. Release all buttons
Step 8. Put microSD card IN
Step 9. ...
And so on...
Thats just rubish product AGAIN, by Nokia.
